  • Ever wonder what that new car smell is? Ever wonder why the car smells after getting back from a hike on a hot day with the windows up and the sunlight beating down on the dash?

Awesome! To anyone who would like know use hard wood and all "activated" is .. is steamed charcoal which opens up the charcoal to absorb more. Much love

I have a frustrating situation that I brought upon myself. I have water damage in my car that's created this awful stench that smells like mildew mixed with a synthetic-seeming odor, like the water had a reaction to the fabric inside my car in addition to the mildew stench. I'm really trying to avoid paying a lot of money or trading it in. Would these help with the odor and effects of whatever chemical reaction happened? (btw I've had the car cleaned professionally and have used moisture absorbing products)

Try cleaning your carpet as well. Carpet is where the smells are stored (unbolt the seats, lots of stuff under there)

Do the bags last indefinitely? How often would they need to be replaced if anything?

+Oilyxir Essential Oils That's a good question! I'd imagine they would last for years... the surface area is insane. The determining factor could be if the car starts to smell again.
