Thank you! I appreciate it.
Some games have a learning curve, some have a learning cliff. But I think KSP is more of a vast learning ocean - so many important milestones and things to learn - just getting beyond the Mun is a huge accomplishment in itself, but despite that there's always new things to try and push yourself.
I've been playing KSP (not continuously) since 2012, and thanks to the incredible modding community, there's still many new things to do and learn. It never ends, and that's why I love KSP.
Its a shame that this doesn’t get the attention that this deserves
It's been doing pretty well relative to my other content, maybe it will in time!

@@TDChannelKSP How did you get the Nerva II to look so nice?
@@makssachs8914 The model is from Kerbal Atomics.
The Seayuz is absolutely crazy and Kerbal in a way, but still realistic!
I can see it's made out of 5 N1 1st stages and some type of Sea Dragon designs for the uper stages!
It's quite a bit bigger than an N1 stage - instead of NK-33s, each engine is F1As - similar engine count, much more power.
The upper stage engines (17x M1-U) are based on a real engine prototype, the largest hydrolox engine ever built.

this is fun, this video being based on a story will be relaxing, i will watch every single of it
You are very good at designing ships. Half the fun is just looking in aw at your designs.
Dude this is so insane, you're an incredible builder! This is just insanity
Love the wobbly lauch tower a KSP
Yes,finally part 2!!!!
These are so well made, and the engineering you’re doing is underrated. Legitimate rocket scientists have said KSP is as bout as close as we can get to the real thing. If you worked for a space agency, we’d have a Dyson Sphere around the sun by now.
So much love went into this project. Craziness. That must have taken at least a week
the cinematics and music in this is amazing!
Keep up the great work, these videos are dope
3:50 *launch tower going kraken in the background*
It's mind boggling how far away Pluto is from Jupiter, and how you have to hit the brakes so hard since Pluto and Charon's mass is so small if you want to perform a capture.
I gotta say, each space station that you built in this series is MASSIVE compared to a Kerbal.
Holy s*** dude.
Amazing work! Can't wait for the last part!
So, why did they need to fly to the other air/spaceport first? Couldn't they have gone directly to orbit from their initial pickup? Is because of the equator and the orbital inclination of their destination? Amazing videos - you do Sexy Shran proud.
News crew timing! USS Andoria is at lunar inclination - at the time of year the crew depart, that would be a nighttime departure from KSC. Flying to Kourou allows for a daylight launch, better for the media crews on the historic day.
Subscribed! Awesome content!
Can’t wait to see the next one!
I love it! The intro reminds me of Battlestar Galactica, nice one
Those habitat modules look like Derlicks from Dr Who
KSP cinematic content has officially peaked with these videos.
Just amazing. Epic mission, great video production. But one question: It looks like the sea launches were done from just offshore of Florida, and the N2 launches were from the Cape, so why was the crew sent from Kourou? That seems like an unnecessary diversion.
maybe it's for inclination changes?
Thank you!
USS Andoria launches into lunar inclination - during the middle of the year that's during the daylight. By the time the crew are sent up, the launch window from Cape would be at night. Going to Kourou allows both a longer showcase of Skylon, and the ability to film them during the day.
On such a long journey, the rotating area should have a distance of at least fifty meters between the living quarters and the center of gravity to minimize the effects of the Coriolis force. Otherwise, such a very long journey could be quite frustrating for the astronauts. Nevertheless, it is a very well made video and a well thought out concept.
12:30 hahaha that is some portal energy
"And prey to your deity of choice" yeaaah... if you crash at mach 5+, I don't think that's going to help very much, pretty sure you're still going to be a fine red mist coating whatever is left of the passenger cabin...
My favorite part was when it transitioned from the drop tank to the andoria core launch from 6:35 to 6:47.
Mesmerizing Kerbaltography
26 years!!!! Awake.... !!! Damn! And I bet they come back with more than 5 crew... ;)
When the pilot says “in the unlikely event of a catastrophic failure, please assume the brace position and pray to your deity of choice.” 💀
The intro was so much like Battlestar Galactica
Heh, finally someone notices! :) directly inspired by that.

This series will get millions of views in a few months, if it was the 60s and the 70s. How unfortunate…
I had a cute ducky commercial 😄
Looks like awesome
I love the planning and logistics parts, Rather than Andoria core containers everything to sustain the kerbonauts on their 26-year journey, I wish you'd shared what that is and how you added it all up. Not a criticism, just a wish.
Quick question-how did you plot the braking maneuvers? Especially at SOI changes, planning such long burns would be very difficult
Stock maneuver nodes work relatively well - not perfect though, so I have to do multiple burns, & switch between USS Shran and USS Andoria each time.
Plutos SOI is fairly small, so most of the speed is scrubbed prior to encounter.
Jesus how do you get ksp to look so amazing, ive tried with multiple diffrent mods and nothing ever looks anywhere near this good!
Probably a bit of post processing.
RSSVE (Rss visual enhancements) + TUFX (Zorgs neutral config).
Occasionally I'll do some editor post processing, usually to enhance glows or correct colors slightly, but I don't do much.
@@TDChannelKSPbro you makin the game look 300% better than cyberpunk RTX
Awesome editing! Skylon looks so sexy with that British Airways livery btw.
Thank you! Yes it does - Landor is a great livery and Skylon is a pretty cool spaceplane.
Fantastic OST.
I think the kraken found the abandoned stage kinda tasty at 7:35.
Even here, in the gamе, US appropriated HOTOL to itself!
They did? In this video is Skylon, the British-developed successor to HOTOL.
AMAZINGNES!!!
Very good 👍👍👍👍
I have no clue how to get an airplane to stay straight on the runway in this mod. Very impressive futuristic birtish airliner.
Epic!
I have a few questions. How are you able to do a dual launch without your frames per second going to crap. Your computer must be decked out in order for it to handle the 10+ mods and high part count.
It's a little slow - I put the physics delta time limit to "0.01", which makes the game as slow as possible with the highest framerate. (it's still meh though) then I speed it up a good bit in post (usually around 300%) and edit out stutters, and that's how you get nice footage from it.
@@TDChannelKSP How did you plan the multi-month VASIMR burns?
@@makssachs8914 Maneuver nodes actually work reasonably okay - made the maneuver, began the burn months in advance, seemed to work out.
@@TDChannelKSP sorry to bother, but are there any ksp utilities for planning very long burns more accurately than stock maneuver nodes?
@@makssachs8914 The only one I know of is Solar Sail Navigator, but its quite old.
forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/107676-wip13-solarsailnavigator-v109/

Question! I've noticed that both the Shran and Andoria have large radiators, but I don't see any solar panels or obvious RTGs, so how is power created and supplies to the ships? Andoria, at the least, needs electricity to maintain life support, so where does it come from?
I believe it was stated in part 1 that the vehicles have integrated nuclear generators. That's partly what the radiators are for as well, iirc.
@@C.Sharpe Ah, ok. Thanks!
