I've been a fan since I saw Schindler's list!! He did amazing in portraying Oskar Schindler, I still think about that final scene when Schindler breaks down, thinking about how much more he could've done.
He's also amazing as a meme, and in Batman. One of my favorite actors

Been a fan of Neeson since watching 'The Bounty' (1984) with Anthony Hopkins. And was so impressed with his portrayal of 'Michael Collins'.
I still feel heartbroken that he lost his wife too soon. 💔we love you Liam
But the way he lost his wife Natasha Richardson makes it even more tragic for him and their kids. He & his wife didn't take her accident when she hit her head on a rock in the snow seriously enough until it was too late. He didn't take control of the situation very well in getting her the immediate medical attn. she needed to surivive the brain hemorrhage from the blow to the head. So, after her death, he started taking all of these Action-oriented roles where he saves his loved ones in the 'Taken' films, or seeking retribution for the killing of a loved one or innocent people.
He's able to take control of the situation and take the right actions to save them over & over again in each of these films.
Gotta love Neeson. Becuase of the new film🎉

It‘s somewhat of a shame that Taken has now so completely overshadowed all his other work. His Schindler is rightly lauded to the high heavens, and it‘s still underrated at that. An all-time great performance, running the whole emotional gamut.

When it comes to Neeson, I'm Taken 2. I thought it was Love, Actually but I found out there's even a third person. Neeson can't be Taken 3 hearts so I'm kinda feeling in The Grey until the answer is less Unknown. I know thats pretty Darkman but if all else fails, maybe he has an attractive Next of Kin.

i'm not irish but i got my fill of them from the crabby irish nuns i had in grade school, and i got through ulysses and think it's pretty interesting to compare it with the sound and the fury, and i don't know why but i often have one of my youtube tabs open to a view of a street in dublin outside the temple bar. so i got this love hate thing going with the irish which i think might be just how it goes.

(If I remember correctly, Born in Colorado USA. Irish parents enrolled them & their sister in Irish dance classes! They are River Dance dancers and appeared on " The Big Deal.". They expanded to social media during the pandemic and, the rest is tremendous fun, innovative creativity, and history!!)

Most people who would roll up and die if they could not act as their career? We did not roll up and die. We just did what we had to do to make money, and the acting still tears at our hearts every single moment of every day. We want to go and just audition and do it, but our situations require our attention, so acting must go on the back burner. I'm a good actor, and I know great actors that you all never will know.
Life is not fair, and it is hard, and if you are one of the MILLIONS who don't "make it" then you will WISH you rolled up and died, but you will just keep going on. It's awful.
