Get a new axle shaft..... even the thought of welding that gives me chronic unease..... And I am a welder! For the price of a new shaft, your cutting corners where you shouldnt..
Yeh I will be getting a new one ...but I will weld this back together just to see how it turnes out but I wouldn't use it ...its only £75 for another shaft ....
Perhaps some timelapses would be nice to see, while you are fixing and cleaning stuff! :)
