sodium hypochlorite is chlorine bkeach. Sodium Percarbonate is Oxygen bleach "peroxide"

Good stuff Scott! We purchase ours by the gallon at pinch a penny pool supply. Park and pay up front then we drive around to the back for them to fill up our tank with their giant sh tank. Keep up the great work!

Some guys in my area get drums delivered. Each delivery they pick up last drum.
My SH company increased prices $1.50 a gallon this season! It's almost $4/gal now in Va.

I have an account with a chemical company in MA that I pick up barrels of SH from. I currently pay $4.50 a gallon.
And that’s crazy that the price went up so much, because last summer it was $2.25 a gallon, and then the next year at went up to $4.50 a gallon.
Sometimes I will see pool shock on sale at stores in gallon containers for $2.25 a gallon. I buy a bunch of those.

No
100 gallons (1000Lbs) is the most you can have before you need to placard and have hazmat license endorsement and vehicle registrations. But you can put a class 8 un1791 sticker on your SH tank if you'd like. Definitely have an sds sheet that is current for what you have.

"Bleach" is its own product. Bleach has Sodium Hypochlorite in it but at a much lower percentage at about 4 to 6 percent. So Sodium Hypochlorite isn't Bleach. Sodium Hypochlorite is the liquid form of Chlorine. Chlorine in its natural state is a gas, and through the process of pressuring, cooling, etc, it can be changed into a liquid, solid, etc. There are 5 different types of Chlorine: Sodium Hypochlorite, Calcium Hypochlorite, Lithium Hypochlorite, Trichlor, and Dichlor. In the softwashing industry, we only use 1 type, and that is Sodium Hypochlorite, or liquid Chlorine. Can someone use Bleach in the softwashing industry to kill and remove organic growth and stains? Absolutely.
