Knowing when to break off the chase on a victorious flank is an acquired skill. 15-18km away from the red ships is a pretty good distance marker. If the cap is taken and the red ships are kiting and your shots are becoming ineffective, it's time to turn towards the middle and be useful. Continuing the chase is not productive and often a waste or a trap.

I just played a match in the Hood and I couldn't hit a broadside Fuso at 16km to save my life. And I usually do work with Hood, consistently. But for some reason, for 6 or 7 salvos, my shells were just not going to hit that bloody Fuso even if she was stationary and my aim was perfect.
Ah well, ship happens. But it was weird, it felt like i had no lock on.
Been revisiting hindy inbetween my 4 Tech Line grinds, and man it’s fun. Im getting 2K+ games and good dmg games very often and I just love the ship. Don’t have Clausewitz though…
I have Clausewitz and I suck at it. Definitely a 'me' problem, but it's making me wonder if I'd prefer Hindenburg with legmod.
@@CodeWeaverWOWS I don’t have the legmod on any ships. (3 t10 4 t9s) I am a fairly new player (1 1/2 year) and chose the hindenburg as my first ever t10. I don’t regret it. It’s fun. It’s pretty straightforward, and it’s a great ship to learn from. It has taught me a lot of good cruiser tips and tricks and I just love it.

I got the highest cruiser average damage per battle badge/cheesement/thingy by playing the Hindenburg pretty much exclusively.
Clausewitz armor is better... but that amazing "potential dmg" was a combination of your skill, game targeting mechanics and dispersion. Amazing in any case! :)

Clausewitz despite being a supership doesn't have any gimmicky armor or funny button, its just a bigger Hindenburg
Napoli isn't much threat as long as it doesn't get within secondary range, but clausewitz applies pressure at all ranges. I find clausewitz to be the single cruiser that I never want to shoot at.

Please explain what exactly do you mean by old Hindenburg? Did he get buffed/nerfed/changed or just referring to power creep?
Old as being in the game for a long time.
Power crept, as lots of battleships with 30mm overmatch have been added over the years, whereas back then only yamato could overmatch 30mm

Btw - the Clausewitz is easy on the eyes. Shes got that German design and just looks like she can whoop a$$ and take a few hits while doing it. I might make it my first T11.
I'm not sure what the issue is with the "auto-aim" bug you're mentioning.
Yes, the aim assist helps with the direction the enemy ship is going the moment you fire your guns. If the enemy ship slows and turns out, of course the shells fall short because they have moved away from where your shells will land.
These are artillery pieces, not missiles. They can't - and shouldn't - be able to magically change direction mid-flight to land farther or shorter than where you aimed when you fired the guns.
Yes and this bug is called dodging. The real bug is wen your shells just disappeared into the void after you perfectly aimed at the broadside of a ship 7-8 km away and you are like 0_0 WTF.
The issue is that when you aim high to predict an enemy ship turning out, your shells don't go as far past the enemy ship as you attempt to aim them. They'll always get "pulled" via the aim assist to be where the ship was going when you fired, even if you aim well above them.
Of course the time to need the less you have the game to can finish for the start every time that happens
I prefer double rudder Venezia. Dancing between shells is too much fun. Especially if you can FEEL the rage of BBs :D

Dont reduce your visibility and take the skill that reduces your reload when spotted. Try to remain spotted so the skill is in effect at most times

I don't understand you issue with aim assist. If you fire at a ship and at that moment it slows down and turns out, of course the shells fall short. They aren't 'pulled down' by the aiming system, they hit the water at the place you aimed (barring dispersion). What would you really expect aim assist to do?

This ship has horrible dispersion. Idk why u play it. It looks so frustrating 9:40 on legends shells fall short alot. So we have to aim higher all the time because of that

PQ your auto aim argument is really stupid. If the auto aim had shells adjust in real time to enemy maneuvers then there would be no point to playing this game at all. I share your frustrations as a BB main against cruisers in this game. Your attempt to explain the problem misses the real issue.
