Dude thats a great soud! By any chance do u know if removing the Dbkiller from the titanium one i get something similar? Cause if not i wouldnt even bother, and change it as it is.
Thx!🙏🏿 I think the db killer removal is a bit more involving on the titanium models, as it’s designed for Euro 4 or 5 compliance. In most cases you have to drill through the rivets, remove the end cap ( make sure to wear a mask as there maybe fiberglass or other harmful sealant material used) then you can unscrew the dbkiller bolt and remove it, put the end cap back on and install new rivets

@@RicardoValentemtb Quad lock I hear is very good. I have not noticed any damage to the iphone, but have not tried to use the iphone camera for recording on the motorcycle yet. I will have to try that and share results.
@@RicardoValentemtbmy iPhone camera was broken from quad lock vibration. Then I got the vibration damper and a new phone and I’ve been good ever since

A little lighter but much better sound, with baffle in sounds perfect, baffle out for a more angry tone, it would be interesting to test the akrapovic titanium, this one is the carbon
@@cp3gatar I understand, I am interested in the same, the titanium one if it is the original and heard that it goes worse, it does not sound so much and comes with catalytic converter....

Did you have the bike tuned?
I did not. Bike is under warranty and am not sure if a tune would affect that. It feels peppier and lighter for sure, much more responsive
How smooth is the stock quickshifter on this Tracer 9 gt? Up & down?
I have not ridden too many bikes with quickshifters but to me it’s quite smooth. You have to be aware of your throttle position, only upshift when throttle is open and downshift at close and it works perfectly

How is it on a long trip?
It’s actually one of the most comfortable bikes I’ve rode. The VFR1200X is much roomier, but the suspension even after an upgrade to Touratech was not as comfortable as the Tracer 9GT, the electronically adjustable suspension on the tracer on 2 is plush for long distance, the seat is a bit wierd and takes some getting used to, as depending on the position will cause a bit of a dip almost like it’s missing support in the middle of the seat, there are videos of a mod to make it more stable+there is the comfort seat option which I do not have. For a taller rider it may feel a bit cramped.
@@cp3gatar I'm 5'10" and a MT09 rider. LOVE ripping twisty roads at "the speed limit" but some of the longer 300 mile cruises are pretty rough. Any experience with a Mt09?
@xplicitaudio the mt09 base would ride similar, but likely a bit stiffer for better response in the twisties, I rode the mt09 sp and it was super comfortable, wind protection is minimal though so the tracer would do much better on longer trips. I have done 5 hours on the tracer without issue, from PA to VA and back.

Yes, full exhaust system but no tune yet.
I don’t like the first part of the clutch take up, it feels like it is slipping or at other times like it is going to stall. On my other bikes it is predictable. Sounds good, but I wouldn’t want to annoy my neighbours.
do you think a tune would resolve that? it feels like the ecu is delaying or reducing power severely. the GSX-S1000GT+ is looking like a solid progression
