I have not ridden too many bikes with quickshifters but to me it’s quite smooth. You have to be aware of your throttle position, only upshift when throttle is open and downshift at close and it works perfectly

That bike definitely had me grinning 😀 the sound and overall ride experience was exhilarating, but it was a bit on the louder side for a daily ride

You are spot on, that video is old, I have since discovered, “Avoid Freeways” on Waze finds some beautiful back roads in Pennsylvania. That’s all I do anymore lol. I have a ton of videos but no time to edit/post 😢

That was a demo ride, I wanted to buy the bike but did not have enough history on it from the dealer. It might have been tuned already, but the feel and sound of that bike really felt awesome.

M4 is the exhaust brand. Seems Akrapovic is much more popular for mt09

Thanks, GoPro 11 with manual settings + ND filter, media mod and cheap wired mic from Amazon, but I recommend always shopping at Revzilla since they have much better quality

@@MRR7 no lol, I have not yet graduated to actual motovlogging. I hide the mic in a large vitamin container padded with foam and inside a backpack, that’s why you hear minimal noise, it also eliminates the need to sync audio with an external wireless mic which is not too hard either

@cp3gatar awesome technique! I use Zoom h2n but syncing takes a lot of time sometimes ... My touring jacket has a backpocket and that's where I place it.

That’s terrible, California emissions are very tough, but you guys have way more cars and pollution:( the titanium version of this exhaust sounds good too, but much heavier and way more complicated to remove the baffle, just move to Texas to Gixxer_brah land, and yet even he left to Mexico lol

The reality is that I did not want to miss my appointment for tire replacement on the Tracer9, to add insult to injury, I had a nail in the front tire and my rear tire was pretty much bald lol I have ridden in the rain before on different bikes, vfr1200x, super tenere, katana 1000, the tracer did well on ride mode 4 tc 2

@cp3gatar lol the things we do for bikes! I'm currently installing denali d3 driving lights on my tracer 9 gt. The bike is still apart but I think they will really add to the look once it put the body panels back on

Wow, that is a tough question Josue, I had this bike for only a few months, traded it in for the Tracer 9GT as it was too much power for the street and too small of a tank for fuel. I think it was either A or B. But I honestly don’t remember 👀

I did not yet, but definitely plan on it. My fuel consumption is pretty high 35 mpg currently, as the bike is running rich, you can tell by the back fires and exhaust burbles 👀

Hey there, @Sir_Revsalot I will need to make a video at some point as I’ve had a few comments about this. It’s just a cheap wired mic from Amazon. GoPro 11 currently and GoPro 10 before that, with media mod. I place the mic in a sock, wrapped a few times to protect the mic from any friction or movement, place it inside a small pocket in a backpack, deep in the back pack. This prevents wind noise from hitting the mic. Ideally place the mic on the side of the backpack closer to where the exhaust is. Also using media mod for GoPro.

That is a great question! I do not believe this exhaust system has a catalytic converter. I could be wrong, this was a demo bike that I tested last year

Solid and underrated sport tourer, my favorite is the electronic semi active suspension, I have long standing lower back issues, and this has been for me the most comfortable ride!

Thx!🙏🏿 I think the db killer removal is a bit more involving on the titanium models, as it’s designed for Euro 4 or 5 compliance. In most cases you have to drill through the rivets, remove the end cap ( make sure to wear a mask as there maybe fiberglass or other harmful sealant material used) then you can unscrew the dbkiller bolt and remove it, put the end cap back on and install new rivets

It’s actually one of the most comfortable bikes I’ve rode. The VFR1200X is much roomier, but the suspension even after an upgrade to Touratech was not as comfortable as the Tracer 9GT, the electronically adjustable suspension on the tracer on 2 is plush for long distance, the seat is a bit wierd and takes some getting used to, as depending on the position will cause a bit of a dip almost like it’s missing support in the middle of the seat, there are videos of a mod to make it more stable+there is the comfort seat option which I do not have. For a taller rider it may feel a bit cramped.

​@@cp3gatar I'm 5'10" and a MT09 rider. LOVE ripping twisty roads at "the speed limit" but some of the longer 300 mile cruises are pretty rough. Any experience with a Mt09?

@xplicitaudio the mt09 base would ride similar, but likely a bit stiffer for better response in the twisties, I rode the mt09 sp and it was super comfortable, wind protection is minimal though so the tracer would do much better on longer trips. I have done 5 hours on the tracer without issue, from PA to VA and back.
