As a Belgian we tried to clone Duvel twice, without succes. Our inexperience may have something to do with that. Tomorrow will be our 3th attempt. So I’m really glad I found this video/recepy to take into account. Thanks and greetings from Bruges!
Now and ever!!!! It´s crazy to like a kind of flavorfull and strong beer in Brazil, but British and Belgian are the best. The taste guest is soooooo lucky
I have just got the nukatap FC. Waiting for my Red IPA to carb so I can use it. Nice to see a practical demo so I know what I'm doing with it in advance
You don't know how I enjoy your videos! Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and also for your english accent. It sounds really friendly to me, I dont even need subtitles! Hhahaa. Thanks a lot from Barcelona!
Yes!! This variety is epic!! Especially if you marry it to a generous helping of Galaxy and Motueka hops. Great fun to brew as well :-) technical tip: aerate, like there is no tomorrow, and good, healthy starter to avoid getting stuck in fermentation. Enjoy!!
Very excited to brew this style. I will be bottling so no need for flow control. FYI, Nukutap is not the only game in town as Intertap has had forward sealing taps for a long time as well. General comment: Beer line is very cheap compared to tap faucets. Get your lines balanced! (i.e. longer lines of hose vs flow control faucets). The set up in this video would be the only reason for a flow control faucet. I love your videos Martin.
If there were any small improvements that could be made on your system a 90 deg 1/2" npt male to female fitting on the lid would be one. Great content as always!
This is Duvel Blond and Delirium Tremens. I don't like Duvel, but I will try Delirium. Heard good things about it. I will brew a Triple soon. Very similar style. Will do it with BE-256.
Love the videos, and I’m loving the Belgium beers! You said that you put 3 gallons in the fermenter, but your recipe in the description is for 5 gallons. Can the details in the description just be scaled down? I want to get into all grain, but I don’t need to have 5 gallons of beer on hand, since I am the only one drinking it.
So... Martin.... I'm always concerned about your silicone hose input at the top of your pot. That kink just drives me batty. Don't you think a hose bender (hose protector, hose spring) would be in order?
What water profile did you use for this version? I put a similar beer together in Brewfather but for some reason it does not like the PH level. Thanks!
My Nukatap Flow Control works pretty badly, It always foams like crazy, for some reason it's like the worst flow control I ever tried. Could you show us how you actually pour wih FC without any beer line? Anyway, nice brewing!

That flow control technique for bringing a keg to a gathering is a genius idea, gotta try that out.
Last week Saison, this week golden and moving into Trappist, You're really hitting my favorite styles to brew and drink now
same here, especially the trappist
Now and ever!!!!

One of my absolute favorite styles!
Great video as always Martin! Belgian beer bonanza!

Yeah! Every time I see that kinked hose....
You started to walk in dangerous waters😅🍺🍺 Trappist Ales, can’t wait for the coming weeks shows😄
I’m trying this style now. Used Wyeast 3726. Taste as I kegged it was good. We’ll see what a month’s conditioning does for it. Cheers

The Delirium is great! I use some coriander and grains of paradise, such a lovely, yet dangerous beer! :3
Delirium is one my my favorite, and the last beer I brewed actually
Delirium won a lot of medals...
Question: why coriander and GOP? Why not let the yeast do their job, let them finish warm, and not make another blue moon bastard??
Another great video !
When’s the strain relief arriving for that line coming out of the mash tun lid? Looking forward to the Trappist beers!

Interested on how the fermentation went. With a very large OG and only using one pack of yeast. Any feedback on how the fermentation went.
I'd like to know as well. I'd also like to know why they don't just larger packs?
Cheers!

dextrose causes bloody headache and hangover on me next day.
still got the hat at least its on the right way round. il be doing this as my next brew
That Nukatap looks pretty awesome. Have you used any of the mini CO2 regulators that use CO2 Cartridges?
I’ve had a few of those but always ended up with leaks
Lauren! It's a Belgian Strong. They start @ 8% ;-)
Very Nice. This looks like one I have to try. Do you design all these recipes?
What water profile did you use for this version? I put a similar beer together in Brewfather but for some reason it does not like the PH level. Thanks!
Hi Martin. You did a similar strong blonde in June 2019. Just wondering which recipe you preferred. Thank you.
Can you do Sapporo Beer clone? Or just any type of beer that is made from rice. Thank you
That wisk is the shit
Well does it taste like Duvel? You havent answered the main question ! ;)
Martin, 4 new beers have been added to the BJCP. Will you brew them?
I’m a beginner brewer. How long did it take to ferment? Could you have added two pounds of honey instead of the corn sugar?
My Nukatap Flow Control works pretty badly, It always foams like crazy, for some reason it's like the worst flow control I ever tried. Could you show us how you actually pour wih FC without any beer line?
Anyway, nice brewing!
I have an adapter with a liquid quick disconnect on one end and a tap coupler on the other.
What connections did you use to mount tap to keg? I'm finding a lot of connectors are not compatible with fc.
Does anyone know the song? I'd like to listen to the rest of it.
Sounds good but ABV is too high for me.
Does the flow control negate the requirement for lengthy tubing in a kegarator?
The keg land flow control disconnects are awesome. Better than the flow control taps. Or the pair together are really good
Yep I wasn’t using any tubing and had decent results :-)
I love your videos... but gosh the lighting is distracting and hard to look at
