Not really, you probably think the film is deep because it shows gothams under privileged going up against the higher class so it shows themes of classism but they are so surfaced level and make no sense when you start to think about babes plan as a whole that it didn’t really work out that well, Batman begins themes of fear and dark knights themes of chaos, order, and oppression were done better in my opinion.

The dark knight trilogy isn't a perfect trilogy, it's THE perfect trilogy. While having it's flaws (god the fight scenes 😭😭) the movie had the perfect qualities as a trilogy

Just watched these movies for the first time For me personally. The music was too intrusive in parts The editing should have been a little more ruthless as the movies just got flabbier each film…the first film takes an hour and 10 before the villain shows his mask. That was a just too long into the movie. I was falling asleep at that point. And I would honestly have preferred it without such a strong presence of Alfred 🤦🏻♂️ Infact, cut his role and take it from Caine all together. His over the top emotional scenes are just NOT what I want for an ageing man of higher class. So bad and draining. Just NO Apart from that they’re half decent films. Even though they DO take themselves a tad too seriously. What next? A moody update of the Flintstones ?? 🙄
The first film was an origin story. How tf do you set up the main character, his relationship with the villain, his motives, the meaning behind the film, get the audience attached with the main character etc. And set up the villain early? Cut out Alfred? Tf lol he's literally a father figure to Bruce and whether you're looking at the surface level or deeper messages of the movie Alfred is needed. And if you include the importance of paying homage to the comics than Alfred DEFINITELY has to be there. Also the "over the top" performance is something I'm trying to find because Batman is literally the only with the over the top performance 😂😂 You can have your opinion, don't get me wrong. You don't even have to like the movie. I just think some of these criticisms made no sense.
