For me *Batman Begins* is my favorite. 1. Liam Neeson did amazing as Ra's Al Ghul and Ra's is one of my all time favorite DC villains, though sometimes he isnt really a villian 2. It was obviously Bale's origin story and I'm a sucker for origin stories and I think Nolan nailed it. Plus the recasting of Katie Holmes to Maggie Gyllenhaal wasn't that noticeable considering I think Maggie was a better Rachel. But Katie did great too. 3. The scarecrow played by Cillian Murphy was pretty crazy as well and even though he didn't get a huge arc I thought for what we got it was well worth it.

I'm fully aware of all of The Dark Knight Rises' issues, but it's the one I enjoy watching the most. If I could only watch one for the rest of my life, it would be rises.
1- The Dark Knight- My second favorite DC Movie ever made and my 3rd favorite Chris Nolan Movie. 2- Batman Begins- Great origin story, that made a fantastic new version of Batman 3- The Dark Knight Rises: Flawed, but still a very good movie, and an overall satisfying ending.
If you think Watchmen is ass, you’re a moron. That may be the most underrated movie of the last 20 years. It was marketed terribly, and the critics all fell for it. It was the perfect movie for Snyder to make given his tone, and he took everything he needed to from the comic.
I've only seen The Dark Knight and I absolutely loved it! I love Heath Ledger as The Joker and is definitely my favorite version of The Joker. It was just amazing. The only problem I had with the film was that I knew exactly at which point Two-Face was about to appear. I felt like that was a little bit of a cheap way of making Harvey into Two-Face, but the whole scene leading up to Harvey becoming Two-Face was just brutal and gut-punching
The Dark Knight is my personal favorite film in the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy because it became the highest grossing movie of 2008 when it came out in theaters. Heath Ledger did a very perfect job playing The Joker. My favorite part of the film is the one where The Joker blows up the hospital.
Personally for me the some action scenes were poor like for instance people fell down that clearly didn’t get hit which for ME is very hard to ignore and I also believe in MY opinion Batman didn’t get enough screen time so therefore I would give it 9/10 but other than the film was perfect

@Halo Fanatic Its not overrated though haha. I'd say 90% of people have "The Dark Knight" as their top. Then Rises it at the bottom. Rises is always put as the worst film in the trilogy, by the wide majority of people. It's not underrated, it's not overrated... In a lot of ways though it is under-appreciated. That's interesting that you think it's overrated though because, this film really gets a TON more negative attention than the others.
i have the same ranking, and its because of how great heath ledger played the joker and how him and christian bale as batman bonded with their two roles in the movie and to be honest i feel like had any other actor played the joker, batman begins would be my favorite but the way he just played his character, out of all superhero movies, he's the only villain that i didn't despise or hate because he just makes it impossible
Love the beard man!!! I wasn’t crazy about Batman begins because I thought the villains were lacking so I preferred the dark night just because of how dark it was and it’s so entertaining and I would put the dark night rises as my number 2 just because of how much I love bane as the villain, he’s so bad ass and intimidating that I can’t help but love his character!!!
I mean 5 of Christopher Nolan's movies are in my top 50 movies of all time, so that says a lot about how talented the guy is and more importantly, how original. Hell, Inception is probably my favorite movie of all time.
I don’t know why but every time I watch TDKR I find myself chuckling or grinning at almost every scene Bane is in and that’s why I like the character. Tom Hardy is just great for that version of Bane.

This is exactly how I would rank them. Ironically I had never seen these films up until a few weeks ago (for whatever reason I was just never really drawn to Batman) but they absolutely won me over. One of the best trilogies ever made!

The Batman Comic Book "The Long Halloween" is one of the most important sources for The Dark Knight. And the Comic Book is fantastic, so is the film. 😀
I think Rises gets lots of grief considering it had to follow the dark knight which is widely considered one of the best CBMs. On its own it’s a flawed but still solid film not worth being overly critical towards. I think Begins is super underrated tho it’s almost as good as dark knight but nobody talks about it as much

I think Rises gets lots of grief considering it had to follow the dark knight which is widely considered one of the best CBMs. On its own it’s a flawed but still solid film not worth being overly critical towards. I think Begins is super underrated tho it’s almost as good as dark knight but nobody talks about it as much

Great movie, I think it is very underrated because of the other movies. Because they where just brilliant.
Bane was a good villian and the ending was amazing. I know a lot of people don't like the ending but to me it feels like a good ending to his arc.
