Maybe mark the holes with different color paint, throw a dab of the paint color somewhere on the corresponding implement. By the time is wears off you’ll have it memorized..😁 Sorry, just realized this popped into my feed after 5 years...
2LateIWon yeah I'm trying to modify all my implements to be the same, but with two of them it's just easier to make the adjustment. But the heads on the bolts and the nuts seem to get in the way on everything, so hopefully this will alleviate that
If your bottom hooks are too narrow , or the width of quick hitch is not compatible with 20 year old implements any suggestions , have got old , and broken bones do not help ideas ?
multiple tractors to do different tasks instead of using a quick hitch? sure, I'll just buy one to hook to every implement, then I'll never have to change one again. Bahahahaha.........but seriously, the upkeep on multiple tractors, maintenance and repairs, you really thing that would be a viable common sense answer over making a pin to replace the bolts in the quick hitch? this is one reason to buy more implements, less engines, transmissions, rear ends, front ends, tires, headlights, oil antifreeze ....etc etc etc to have to worry about. Every piece of equipment with a motor is just one more thing to have to do maintenance on, no thanks

Another solution would be to have multiple tractors to do different tasks.
Anything advertised as "fast/cheap/easy/etc" is almost never as such.

Have you actually tried this on an implement?
As you stated, the implement hits the bolts/nuts. Does the u-bolt allow the implements to attach?
I don't get it? If the bolt heads are sticking out too far, this U-Thing you made sticks out even farther, so how the hell does that help??
