I went to Vaishno devi few months back and my prepaid had zero network throughout the trip.
Apart from this, the locals told us that the other state's prepaids are kind of jammed there.
I got to know this from a known as well who is based in Jammu.

Yes.. I live in jammu.. Our prepaid sim doesn't work in other state.. So we have sims pre un post.. Which is both prepaid and postpaid

Yes when we went prepaid didn't work.. He had to take post paid local simcards the number of days we stayed in Kashmir.
