I think gooning ruined edging, like a lot of things in this world, something as tame as edging gets ruined with gooning which is basically throwing moderation out the window and getting into addiction, which I don't like. Anyways, I barely if ever edge anymore due to it reminding me of gooning, now, edging never lead me to the addiction, but just the thought of others addicted turns me off. I've ALWAYS BEEN pro sexuality and against addiction, I've always advocated for a moderate balance, I mostly just fap normally nowadays.
I do think doing it as a whole is generally not great.
