Test natural toothpaste next!!
Sarah Sheaffer pro tip, use toothpowder to scrub your tongue and the roof of your mouth and back of your throat. just do not use it for your teeth. My dentist told me it's too abrasive to even use once a month. But it works so good at getting everything else is super fresh, and it even comes in anise and cinnamon flavors.
Great idea, Sarah. I was wanting flouride free and baking soda free (because the baking soda causes me pain). I finally ended up getting kid's flouride free toothpaste because all of the adult ones seemed to have baking soda for whitening. The only problem with the kid's toothpaste (berry flavors) is that I don't have that minty clean feeling when I am done.

Harley 90Degreebyreflex leggings !!!!! I KID YOU NOT, they often times have them at Marshall’s/tjmaxx for like 20$ and if not you can find them on amazon or their website. Those leggings are SQUAT PROOF and you’re not really over paying 👍🏼
They’re 40$ on their website but I’ve gotten plenty of pairs at Marshall’s for half that.

Im so glad the winner was baking soda free, definitely want to try it out! Its been so hard to find a sensitive skin formula that actually helps with odor. The Native sensitive “works” but i have to reapply every 3-4 hours and during a busy work day its just not always possible. I’d love to see a video on the best natural toothpaste and mouthwash. I tested a few and just felt like my teeth were getting weak and had to switch back to regular.
Been waiting for this one, yay! So I absolutely believe we get "used to" our natural deodorant to where it stops working with out body chemistry. I used natural Arm & Hammer brand for a year + then one day out of the blue it stopped working ! I bought a different scent, version etc but still Arm & Hammer brand with no luck. I have now been using Toms for about 6 months give or take, still working great! I will continue til it stops, lol but now I have a reference to other brands from someone I trust ❤ Thank you for the video & keep these types coming !
I had similar experience with arm and hammer. It worked like a charm and then one day it didn't. Bummer too because it was much cheaper than any of these. I'm using native deodorant now so we'll see how long that lasts. For 12 bucks I'm hoping it will go more than a year

I use at home dip kits, if you put in the work to shape/buff nail correctly so the edges fade into the natural nail, and have something to grip onto, I've had some last for easily a month, sometimes could be more

Me too on the baking soda. I'm trying a crystal rock. It's $5 on Amazon and so far no rash.
same here... I'm currently using Almay for sensitive skin $3.99 at Walmart. I cured my rash with benadryl 😊 I hope it helps🤞.
I deal with skin darkening, rash, peeling, cysts and itching from both antiperspirant and plain deodorants, my favorite is nubian heritage brand hobey and black seed scent, it's the longest lasting of the 4 scents i have tried from them and i don't experience any adverse reactions and the skin darkening is minimum (all products darken my armpit skin)

Thanks so much for this!!! I switched to natural deodorants starting with Tom's a few years ago and it stopped working after a few months. I've since been trying out different ones, including that pricey Lume, which did NOTHING. I am so tired of wasting my money, so THANK YOU!!!
♥️ you and appreciate your opinion Brittany! Disclaimer about the Lume deodorant: it was formulated by an OBGYN and comes in stick and tube form. If you use the tube and it left a film, you used too much. It is baking soda and coconut oil free which can be an irritant for some people. The instructions also direct you to prep your clothes as there are oils and odors in fabrics!!! I’m a nurse - work 12 hr shifts, and many of my coworkers and myself really like the Lume deodorant.

Meagan Spicer You can watch a video with directions on the Lume website and they also send you an email. It basically involves using an enzyme cleaner like Nature’s Miracle or Persil to break down the oils, wax, and odor already in the clothes prior to laundry. Hope this helps 😊

I love dove zero aluminum. It's got the power of dove without the chemicals. It's amazing and they are clear, so no white mess ! Love it. Even in thailand it worked.
I'm using that currently. I wish it was more pure and natural, but at least it works and is aluminum free. With a father who has Alzheimers, and a grandmother who died from it, I'm not willing to take risks. I've tried dozens of natural deodorants, and the only two that worked made my armpit skin peel off like a sunburn 😨

It’s Australian brand, natural deodorant, rare find here in US, amazing natural deodorant: no stains, protection on point, nice smell (I and my boyfriend both tried Ancient Spice sent), no Aluminum, but it does have backing soda (no rush though).

You know what, I'm really grateful you made this video. Recently I had this issue of deodorant just randomly stopping working for me and it's made me not only go on a hunt for a new and hopefully more natural one, but also feel really insecure. Lume is definitely the one for me! It has worked so well I don’t even have to wear deodorant every day sometimes only every other day or every two days. I don’t smell at all, I will never switch back!

This is awesome! I was in Walmart a couple weeks ago wondering how I was going to find a natural deodorant that works for me and then this video came out 😃 I’m so glad to know the native deodorant formula may have changed. I bought my first stick and the odor still comes through. For the Schmidt’s brand my friend and I both tried different scents. We both found that it got very dry and started to get messy. The formula seemed to kind of pill up and it was more like an exfoliant when putting it on. I saw the doctor teals has deodorant now too but I really want to try the ones from Amazon now to see how they perform for me.
Amy Daniels omg I got one of the Schmidt’s ones at Marshall’s that was really scratchy and weird, that’s not how they normally are! I usually buy from target and it’s my favorite natural deodorant and never got a bad one from there

This is great! I have been waiting to see a deodorant review! I've used Schmidts scented deodorant and I had really bad rash and burning sensation, so maybe I may have to try the fragrance free.

SuperrNinja16 I tried 2 different versions from Schmidt’s and the same thing happened to me. I think it maybe the baking soda in it. I tried the toms one and it doesn’t irritate me at all even with a scent.
I used Schmidt’s Charcoal one and it would literally clump up in my armpits. So I would have clumps of black deodorant in my pits 🙃
I also recent had a bad reaction to the lavender one 😭
FANTASTIC JOB, Brittany!!!! So thorough! I have tried many but not the one you listed as the winner. I will pick some up for travel. I will definitely grab the spatula...great idea...as I make my own deodorant. I find that even if I don't put it on every day I do not have ANY BO for a couple days!!!! Now this is significant as deodorant has never ever worked for me...not the rock...nothing. I would be happy to provide you with it, if you like, but didn't list it here as I really appreciate all the work you put into this video and didn't want to seem to be taking anything away from that.
Keep up the wonderful work! I would love to see more vids like this on natural products...soap nuts, natural shampoos and conditioners, etc. Most plastic bottles, unless clear, are never recycled, so I am trying my best to avoid them.

Yes! I have been faithfully using Little Seed farm for almost a year! I have never had any irritation or rashes like other natural deodorants, and it continues to smell so good! I have the Rosemary Patchouli scent and it is HEAVEN. Their soaps are amazing too, and very reasonably priced.
How about BEDDING SHEET SETS! What's the hype all about with the million thread count? Does it matter? Is Egyptian cotton better than Turkish Cotton? What is Pima Cotton v. Supima Cotton. What is Sateen v. Silk or cotton / sateen blends? Which is easier to clean, last the longest, feels better on the skin, good for hot types v. cold types of sleepers? :D
I’ve been using the Schmidt’s Rose one for almost a year now and it’s been the best natural deodorant I’ve ever used, the only one that’s worked for me. It’s great because you can buy it in a 3 pack at Costco!!

I always use Arm & Hammer. My skin is sensitive too and I've never had a reaction. Plus it's only a couple of bucks.
My all-time favorite is the Arm & Hammer Naturals unscented. It is one of only two "Natural" deodorants that really worked for me. HOWEVER, it made my skin peel off after using it for a while. The only other natural deodorant I had that worked was the Thinksport Blackberry Bergamot, but the same thing happened! The only ingredient they had in common, that hadn't been in other deodorants I had tried, was orange oil, so I assume I have a bad reaction to that. When I run out of Dove 0% aluminum, which works great but has artificial fragrance & BHT, I'm going to try the Thinksport again, in Currant & Grapefruit to see if it works as well as the Blackberry Bergamot did, but without the reaction. My sister in law is a nurse who swears by the brand.

Because of you, I switched from the one deodorant that you tested on here, which wasn’t so hot, and I ordered 2 free samples from Little Seed Farm. Best decision. I don’t feel embarrassed knowing a shirt I wear gets only one use or that I stay away from people at the gym because I smell bad. This stuff works and the Rosemary one smells great!
Next test what antiperspirant doesn't cause pit stains!!
The Dove dry Spray, is completely invisible it does not give you stains but is 20% aluminum that is why I was interested in a natural deodorant. Dove works perfectly, try it, you will see.

Also, rust remover takes out pit stains. I don’t remember how I found that out but give it a try on a shirt you don’t really care if you ruin. I would do it to my white uniform shirts.

I've put up with a perpetual baking soda rash for like 3 years now because I'm allergic to traditional deodorants. I am beyond grateful for this video!
Native is my tried and true! Schmidt’s and any that have any baking soda wreck my armpits!
The lavanilla is really nice if you mess up shaving yours pits. It’s the only ‘deodorant’ that doesn’t sting my cuts 😳 edit: its first ingredient is aloe

It worked so well and then all of the sudden, just didn’t. With fail after fail I just went back to aluminum deodorants. It was an internal fight - I didn’t want to use aluminum but I didn’t want to be that smelly girl at work.
