I got one of the remotes to work fairly easily, but the other one WAS NOT syncing. @@DavidLee-nv9nv maybe the controller is being charged using the switch's battery, you don't need to keep the cable in though, once connection is established just use the controller wirelessly

oh by Jove it worked, lost the manual for my 3rd party controller, and spent 3 days trying all kind of button combos to get it paired, but it just took a single cable to connect and now works flawlessly.

I recommend the retro fighters GC controller for the switch to connect the Retro fighters controller to the switch u need to have the wired controller settings on
I have a 3rd party one like the one in the bottom right of the video, and I had it paired to my old switch now I got the oled and I can’t get it to connect, is there anything needed to unpair first? Even connecting wired to the new switch doesn’t recognize it. I held the button in the middle and it goes to the fast blinks but still won’t see it.

The one I need is that Elisween one in the top left with the red and blue and it doesn’t have the normal button but all it does when I try to connect it is flash at me and vibrate. I have a 3rd Party wireless Pro Controller (the white one with the Smash Bros design), which works both wired and wireless with the Switch, but just wired with the OLED Switch. I can't figure out what's wrong. Any ideas, anybody?

I have a cybergadget mini led controller and the directions are in Japanese. I have it working for my Switch but was trying to connect it to another Switch and can't figure it out. The cable didn't work.
But the Switch LITE method for Charging the controllers Battery means that the Switch Lite's ONLY battery can't be charged at the SAME time the only way round that is to get a 2nd charging NON USB cable so that both the controller and the Switch itself will stay at 100% battery life as long as BOTH are plugged in at the same time.
I have a ps4 imitation controller with Bluetooth and usb cable, i connect it to the switch, press home button and the sswitch won't recognize it. The controller switch on the blue light like if its searching something but won't connect, also if its connect by usb swich the orange light like its charging. I cant make it work 😢 I also have a nacon controller with USB cable and also won't recognize it.
I got a voyee controller for £15 and it feels the same as an official xbox one controller but it's lighter and it has a gyroscope. Better than an offical xbox one controller and a fraction of the price.

I have a voyee switch controller for pokemon scarlet violet. I plugged usb into switch official dock, I plugged type c side into voyee switch controller and held turbo button for 5 seconds to pair. I'm still having issues. I'm still in the "first 20 minutes phase"but starting to freak out if anyone has any tips?
I kinda gave up on the controller i snatched off my brother. I figured out my pokémon controller isn’t licensed nintendo, and his has an insane rumble to it, so i copped it lol. I tried many times to connect it, but it never worked. luckily the first method worked! it wasn’t even the correct controller! thank you!
