- There are some pretty sad/funny/suspicious/interesting voice lines in Genshin Impact. So today, I'm presenting you some voice linse that make you ask more questions than the voice line answers..

Erase memories heroic king of khanheriah diluc being afraid to talk about varka i mean holding info out of respect and zhonhli didn't even knew ehat a vision is and stood besides me? Maybe something in the archon war i don't know
I always got the feeling he was talking about Guizhong. She was apparently the brain to his brawn and her death contains a lot of mysteries as well - including who killed her and the puzzle she left for Zhongli to solve.

I have a feeling we might know more about that puzzle when Fontaine comes out since well so far, to me, Fontaine people that we met/heard would make a machinery of somekind so probably someone can help us about the puzzle. For sure, the content of the puzzle won't be known to us any sooner though 🤔

It’s said seelies are lost and cannot go home on their own without the guidance of people(traveller). Seelies were once powerful and ruled the world, but now the best they can do is offer small gifts to people who lead them back home, probably which is why aether has a sense of connection and sadness to the seelies since he’s also lost. That’s why I never walk past a seelie without guiding it
To me seelies too might be the dead folks we pass by as wisp type souls.
On liyue mountains in mt Tianheng about childish jiang short hide and seek quest, his house’s parents tombs and the seelies. He mentions of his mom disappeared on a mountain followed by a group while he hid and waited still in hide and seek mode last time he was with her and gone.
I tried to find the second seelie and it’s near a bloody flying ruin hunter.
I still can’t put that voice line out about seelies on our travels be they found near roads with broken carriages, rooftops on cliffs like old lost souls.
Forgive me but I was reminded of still in my dragon quest 9 mode. Where the Mc (a fallen “celestial”/guardian angel falling through the mortal world from a starry sky similar to celestia of genshin, lost their powers yet can see and guide the dead)
one one hand leading a seelie back to its home gives treasure and its good, but the game looks so much better with seelies
in the aranara world quest, Seelies devoted their lives to love humans
honestly dains voice actor is so great, he actually sounds super damaged and exhausted in this one

I believe Jean talking about Sucrose refers to Sucrose avoiding Jean? If you listen to Sucrose talking about Jean, you'll see that Sucrose thinks she's scary and tries to avoid her. I've noticed nobody talks about it-

Regarding Aether and his line, I think it might be that he feels a connection to the seelie spirits, they might be connected to his old world I think? Seelies in the game are based on spirits of the same name, they're fae creatures. Maybe Aether and Lumine are fae? Are they from the faeworlds? I dunno. I'm just speculating. This game is fun

@@altheajenniferreyes3477 Depending on which mythology you're getting them from, they're... Assholes. Or Spirits, usually both. But there's many kinds of them, with varying forms of personality, they range from playful leprechauns, to murderous red caps, fairies (faeries) related to seasons, and even a few minor deities. There's a whole lot of them.
The twins seem to have more connections to angelic entities than fae creatures, especially given their 6 wings and association with stars. That said, I would be lying if I said I haven't heard of proposed connections between these two classes of beings from different mythologies.
@@angeldude101 before Christianity fucked up Scottish/Welsh/Irish mythology, (no hate, they just kinda do that a lot) the fae used to be their Gods. They have hence forth been downgraded, perhaps there's a connection to be made there?
@@spoopyd.8910 You are completely right. Calling the fae "fallen angels" was Christianity's way of sanitizing them so they'd be compatible with the church. At the same time, angels often tend to be portrayed as equivalent in power to polytheistic religion's gods anyways, if not more powerful. The main distinction that I could find is that angels tend to be treated more as tools for Big G rather than as independent beings in their own right.
Comparative mythology is fun.
jean stumbled her word probably because she didn't want to scare the traveler , sucrose goes around asking for bones for her alchemy and rumors spread and it turned into a horror story for children in mondstadt
I have Sucrose and yeah.... Her story has her collecting bones, even from butcher.

I have a dead ass feeling the King of Khaenri'ah is still alive just corrupted by the abyss. No I don't think kaeya is related to the King of Khaenri'ah but I believe he's from another noble family in Khaenri'ah instead.

Kaeya's last name means 'the lord of supernatural beings' though, so I wouldn't call it such a stretch to consider Kaeya the crown prince of Khaenri'ah

@@adamdragonace3988 She says keeping the traveler in Liyue might let her leverage the city at the right time, meaning the traveler being in Liyue makes Liyue more valuable in an upcoming event. She might be talking about the traveler's exploits and their growing reputation as a hero being a boon to Liyue. If it's not that, then the only other person she might be talking about is the Abyss sibling, and Ningguang knows what they're planning.

The Sucrose one actually makes a lot of sense if you read up about her. Sucrose is one of the freakiest characters in Genshin.

It's probably pierro or dain. keaya is a possibility too but I think young to be the hero of a nation that was destroyed 500 years ago.
@@mdraj5655 Pierro was confirmed to be some kind of royal advisor in the Pale Flame artifact set, and Dain was the royal guard. I think the king is dead already or turned into some kind of monster. Kaeya might have royal blood though!

The black serpent knights have a drop item that seems to imply itself as a ceremonial totem, a good luck charm that is based on their beloved king. The first three tiers are aligned with 'good' the final tier (4 star) is twisted and 'evil' or rather it is referred to in English as "ominous" and it visibly has red glowing eyes in the graphic.
The king, like the sages, is likely still alive, just twisted into something he's not meant to be.
The sages most likely are the Lectors/Heralds, we haven't actually beat one (as in fully drained its HP to 0) as they tend to escape/halt the fight before it gets that far... with the exception of the two under the nameless city in The Chasm.

Maybe seelies are the spirits of adventurers whom have passed on in their journey, and in turn, they transform to what they needed the most in their last living seconds- a guide, heat, light.
They serve the next travelers that find them, just as they wished they had been.

Diluc once was a knight of favonius. However, his father ended up perishing in front of Diluc right before his eyes. Diluc told the knights, but Varka did nothing and even dismissed Diluc. Varka betrayed Diluc in every way. Diluc leaves the knights and he ends up having hatred towards the knights. Kaeya saw Crepus perish too and had no idea how to react so he ended up laughing. Kaeya knew he was a spy from Khaenri’ah and ended up telling Diluc everything knowing Diluc would get mad. He didn’t expect Diluc to retaliate this much and they both drew their blade. Diluc ends up scarring Kaeya on his eye and he had to wear an eyepatch that he never took off. It’s probably because he felt guilty. To try to remedy things, he ends up looking into the whole Varka’s situation. Eventually Varka was found guilty and was forced out of the knights of favonius. Kaeya ends up taking the position of Chivalry Captain. Diluc and Kaeya have feud but deep down, Kaeya wishes he can take it back. He since hides his pain through a smile and plenty of lies. I think Kaeya has lied so much at this point that he is starting to believe his lies. It truly is a tragic story

@@MAN1A42 The Traveler's Sibling can't be the King/Queen of Kheanri'ah because the sibling never resided fully in the Godless city, and traveled the near world. Dainsleif said that they traveled Teyvet but were unable to reach the final destination, and the Traveler's twin was oh-so ready to abandon the whole world just to get us out of there when we woke up (see: Intro of Game, there was no hesitation). A King/Queen wouldn't just leave because it got dicey, especially since the twin is dead set on "reviving the homeland" (which is freaky wording as Teyvet as a whole ISN'T home to begin with for them).

On the black serpent knight enemies introduced in The Chasm, they have a drop item that is a totem of the king of Khaenri'ah, the first three tiers are posed to us in a good light, the king is beloved, revered, respected and his people stand in unison with his mission.
The final tier is considered "ominous" and has a red eye glow on it and seems more twisted and dark, implying the glorious, beloved king became something else, something dark and instead of respect, he was feared.

Ei confirms that archons dont have anything to do related to vision, visions are probably given by Celestia and that why the vision hunt decree happen in the first place

Is He refering to zhongli having a Lot of Power, and that it was Dangerous when they went to war?
Being able to use the elements is very impressive to the people of Teyvat, which is what makes vision holders special. ZhongLi doesn't need a vision and can do this as easy as breathing. But even when he's clearly at a different level, people followed him. Remember Zhong Li took down many gods and demons in his prime. So assuming he led Guili/Liyue's army during the archon wars, orders from him that he thought were simple, would seem like suicide. Like imagine in battle, the guy with the rifle tells you, an ordinary citizen, to storm a fortress with your kitchen knife.
I'm guessing he's shocked that instead of the people yelling at him "why don't you do it?! you have the power, I can't do anything", they said "sir, yes sir" and charged a literal giant water dragon with a spear to help him win the archon wars
@@_johndoe_ On top of that the original Millileth were just impressive human specimens, they didn't have the ability to channel elemental energy yet they grew physically strong enough to literally wear rocks as armour and use them as spears just like their deity did. To him that would be incredibly impressive in hindsight.
