    Sir can I do it with the new plant? I got it from nursery about a month ago. It’s a cutting grown plant.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 15 dny +1

      Thank you very much! As it's a new plant, please avoid pruning now and let it grow. Other than pruning, rest of the things can be done. You can also spray Super Sonata once in 45 days to 2 months to make it grow well. Dose is 1ml in 1 liter water. Good luck!

    After pruning did you place them on direct sunlight? Please where do we place?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 16 dny

      This is why I recorded the everything under direct sunlight on terrace :-) Sure, we can keep them under direct sunlight after pruning, no issue. But please note that, too much harsh sunlight is not ideal for Roses in Summer. Green net is ideal or if that is not possible, please provide only 4-5 hours of morning Sunlight as mentioned in the video. Thank you :-)

    Is it ok to prune the rose plant in summer season??

    • @FinestFlora7
      @FinestFlora7 Před 16 dny

      Never ever sorry but don't follow rose tips of this guy .. rose season is only winter that's where we get big size and great colour for rose flowers .. rest then winter in summer and monsoon use 12-61-00 fertilizer and humic acid per week for root development.. try to make as much as roots in these seasons then see the flowering results in winter

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 16 dny +1

      @omemtayengchai6776, Absolutely yes and that is why I did this video. If they are not in good shape, not flowering, have diseases then go ahead and prune them. Roses are fast grower and we can prepare them for Winter blooms in Sept-Oct, there is plenty of time. If we do everything with proper care, it would take hardly 40-50 days to get a much fuller and beautiful Rose plant. Good luck!

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 16 dny

      @FinestFlora7, Hmm...I have no words for you. You need to do bit more research on Rose farming technique. Don't take it personally!

    • @FinestFlora7
      @FinestFlora7 Před 16 dny

      @@GardeningUpbeat sorry bro u have taken it personally i didn't i just said truth best time to get growth from roses are March till monsoon and then hard pruning in later sep or first week in October it all depends on climate conditions.. that's why I said don't take flowers at that time instead work on root growth in summer season

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 15 dny

      @FinestFlora7, no worry and no need to say sorry :-) I didn't take it personally, Chill. If we grow in pots, there is not much think about roots growth as they become rootbound very fast. By doing few extra things we can definitely enjoy flowers on our plants. If you don't want flowers..it's totally fine. Everyone has their own preference. I would prepare my Roses again in Sept-Oct for Winter blooms.
