Hey, so I am graduating High school this June and I'm verrryyyy lost. I applied for a Dental Hygiene program at a local community College and I read about prerequisites and I have no clue what to do .I didn't take any prerequisites in highschool and when applying to the college I applied directly to the Dental Hygiene program and I read about the prerequisites, I'm not sure what to do please explain.
I just got accepted into a DH program and you have to have those prerequisites completed before you can into the program( at every school I have seen anyway). So you will likely need to take those prerequisites and then when they are all completed apply for the program.
So prerequisites are a set of college courses you must take before applying to the program. I recommend contacting an advisor to get more information about the curriculum
