I love how open you are ❤️ thank you for this q&a😊
Hi Molly have now caught up with the last 3 vlogs back to back watching. Lol
Thanks for all your hard work and editing them all in a great time frame seeing as you are meant to be on holiday. You were some informative and detailed in all of them.
You Molly are really becoming a great vlogger. You and Tom are such a cute and loving couple . Can’t wait to see all your future travel vlogs . Xx👍👍
All I can say is that I am glad that you are safe and well and enjoying your self please stay safe and strong love your number one Australia fan John xxxx
I love how open you’ve been about the costs. For the experience you’ve had sounds like great value for money!
Loved this Molly♥️ It makes me so happy to see you and Tom Happy! 😊♥️
Such a lovely comment! Thank you!
You look so healthy!
Molly is🌹 GORGEOUS
Do you have to sort out your own flights if you book with Tru travels?
Love your vlogs! Xx
Very informative and helpful as always, thank you Molly 😊 one extra question for you which feels really silly to ask but did you have to show you have a license to hire bikes?
Thank you so much!! No, nobody ever checked any license at any of the different bike shops
It’s crazy how cheap Thailand is compared to the UK! How much would you say like 1 cocktail was in Thailand in pound? I’m loving the vlogs, so excited to start the Vietnam ones!!❤️
Honestly it really is mad! Sometimes less than £1!
Your hair looks lovely. Is it naturally curly?
Love you
On the Tru tour, is it only people from the UK? Or also from other countries?
You mentioned getting cash out of an ATM, do you get charged for this and do different ATMs offer different exchange rates? How come you didn't go to a normal bureau de change? Love the videos 💖
Thank you so much! There is an exchange fee, but we’re both with monzo bank so get up to £200 cash withdrawal free each month from an international bank/atm! But then we’re charged an extra £2 or £3 each time but the convince of going to an ATM makes that worth it because actual exchange places are few and far between and getting £150 out at a time, especially in Thailand was lasting us over a week at a time really! Just meant we weren’t ever carrying too much cash but you could definitely do it that way, personally we just found it easier!
Thanks for your reply! Safe travels to you both 💖
Does anyone know where Molly got this topfrom?
Lottie weill chew your socks from your ankles when you return. "Don't miss me, eh?" 😂😂
I think homesickness starts to kick in after the third month. At least per my experience.
We wish you could stay Longer and EXPLORE the whole Philippines Island there is so much more to SEE. We Wish you guys GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS IN LIFE 🇵🇭
Love this! Just wondering, have you felt the need to dress modestly at all? I'm going to South Asia in the autumn by myself and don't know how much to cover up aha
Yeah same I feel so on edge wearing revealing clothes
No not at all! In temples and religious areas definitely and they do enforce this, but otherwise no!! Especially not in Thailand or the Philippines as both were filled with tourists, Vietnam slightly less so just because it’s more cities and towns than beaches, but most people (locals included) have shorts or skirts on, the dress is fairly similar to home everywhere we’ve been!
How have you found buying clothes like is it all one size only type of thing? X
Yeah it is all one size fits all of yours buying from markets or street stalls tbf🥲 but shops that are regular brands are the same, for example I bought a few bikinis from H&M in the Philippines and they’re sized the same
🥰🌟💕
You said they don't take card, you use cash.
Do they use WeChat pay or/and Alipay like in China/HongKong?
Yes! They do actually!! We just can’t use it
Might be a bit of an odd Q, but which Monzo account to do use?
With travelling, is the Plus/Premium worth it - or do you both just have the standard accounts?
We have just a regular monzo account but a joint one so like 2 cards spending from the same account HOWEVER!! If we were to start again I think a premium or a plus card would definitely be worth it; or even a Revolut equivalent
do you think it would be possible to do 27 days in Thailand for less than the £1600 you paid for the tour? I know the difference in daily spend when on a tour vs not on a tour will be noticeable but overall how much difference do you think it would have made to the cost of your whole trip if you had done the entire thing independently? xx
Hey - I lived/travelled Thailand for 6 months with £3500 and this was fine 😊
All depends on how luxurious you want your time there to be! Personally, I would be able to do 27 days for less than £1600 but it’s always down to the person!
Backpacking Bananas has much more detailed videos about the cost of travelling various countries! She’s just been to Thailand and has said she’ll be posting a budgeting video soon so might be worth keeping an eye out for that, but from my experience that definitely sounds doable 😊
Yeah I reckon you could for sure!! Especially staying in hostels & if you plan a rough route before you go so that you’re not going back and forth between islands coz tbh that’s where our extra costs mainly came from!! But definitely
Unrelated, but which travel vloggers do you watch? The only people I watch are you and backpacking bananas x
I know she’s mentioned about Haylsa and Kyle Hunter
Yesss so I LOVE Haylsa & Kyle, and also backpacking bananas too! I watched a LOT of Lost Le Blanc videos before we headed to Thailand! And then really just anybody that comes up when I search a location to see what to do there!
Watching this video with my boyfriend and he wants me to ask what the water there is like 🤣 like the bottled/tap🤣
Hahaha thank you for watching! a valid question though!!! You can’t drink the tap water anywhere you go but bottled water is cheap & they do have refill places for bottles in some places too
Sorry how you spend 1500 each when the tour was 1600 in total
Do you have a promo code with Tru Travels I am thinking of booking the same tour!!
I don't sadly, sorry! You definitely should though, I think you'd love it!x
@@MollyThompsonx_ We booked! Leave on Saturday - thanks for the inspo :)
