One screw at a time! 😂 Gotta Love it!
That’s how Scrapping works sometimes lol
It’s been hot here too buddy! Great video buddy!
Thanks for the visit
Great video my friend ....keep them switches off them ac units that's good easy brass and copper on them...even if u ain't gunna scrap them out right away just put into a barrel for down the road micro scrapping...I just did all my ac switches and got about $300 in brass and $200 in copper bro ....its worth just throwing in a bucket for later on when there is no big stuff to do or just a relaxing scrapping day
Thank you 👍
What switches
@@ScrappingwithGrandpa the switches on the front of AC units by the compasitor
I break them down by taking motor off then sealed unit then side screws cooper brass radiators for last depends on the size they r anywhere from 25 minutes to three hours to do
That’s why I don’t do the sealed unit so it takes too long
Drew, you need a pop up canopy to set up in the yard to keep the sun off of you. a cooler with water or gatorade. Nice video!!
That would be cool!
I do the same thing for sorting and taking apart later. I'm going through my later buckets now.😂
I love them buckets when you get to them
Thanks for the video 😊
My pleasure 😊
Great video, 🤘❤️👍
Thanks for the visit
If only you were able too get 20 of them that would make a lot of money hope your weekend went great 😊😊
I wish!
Nice teardown! AWESOME video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it I know I enjoyed tearing it down. I love caring apart air conditioners specially big ones. I have a big one to pick up next week. I also have two honeyhole’s that have called me and told me they were ready for me to pick the scrap up, so grandpa is blessed.
They are fun
Hello 👋
Hello, my friend dumpster diving Adelaide
Oh yeah!!
Nice video. I would take them all day long. Last one I did had Al. Rad.
Right on I hate it when they’re aluminum. I’m picking up another one next week.
@@ScrappingwithGrandpa hope it is the copper core. Love seeing people make money.
right now in ariz its 108.I was up at 530 am ,it was 87.when I finished filling truck and some processing it was 103 like 1130 am.we r going thru the heat wave warnings and will only get worse, like wednesday it was 111.
That is hot my friend. Oh my God stay blessed and stay cool.
It's called glycol.
Thank you
Well worth breaking these items down for best value 👍👍
Very true!
Your recycle yard doesntvrequire hvac cert to scrap large chunks of condenser? I gotta break them all the way down
No they don’t. I don’t have to have anything.
Why not use the magnet to toss the screws at? Rather than hunt them down later.
That’s actually a good idea. Thank you, Jimbo.
It’s been hotter than all get out here also
Same here, my friend
So-how much time for how much money?
It takes about an hour you make about $45-$65. It’s according to how big the unit is you’ve done plenty of them.
