    Great video my friend ....keep them switches off them ac units that's good easy brass and copper on them...even if u ain't gunna scrap them out right away just put into a barrel for down the road micro scrapping...I just did all my ac switches and got about $300 in brass and $200 in copper bro ....its worth just throwing in a bucket for later on when there is no big stuff to do or just a relaxing scrapping day

      Glad you enjoyed it I know I enjoyed tearing it down. I love caring apart air conditioners specially big ones. I have a big one to pick up next week. I also have two honeyhole’s that have called me and told me they were ready for me to pick the scrap up, so grandpa is blessed.

    Your recycle yard doesntvrequire hvac cert to scrap large chunks of condenser? I gotta break them all the way down

    Why not use the magnet to toss the screws at? Rather than hunt them down later.

    So-how much time for how much money?

    • @ScrappingwithGrandpa
      @ScrappingwithGrandpa  Před 16 dny

      It takes about an hour you make about $45-$65. It’s according to how big the unit is you’ve done plenty of them.
