que coincidência, estava estudando esse estudo e tentando achar alguma referência de ajuda para a antecipação da mão esquerda, até que encontrei os dois em um só vídeo, obrigado Ilia!

Thanks Ilia this is exactly the type of exercise I need to improve upon my bowing, you definitely need to do expand on this. Excellent lesson 🎉

this is currently a huge struggle for me, with the opening scale-thingy sections in the second movement of Sinfonia-Concertante, it seems no matter how much I practice i just can’t get my hand to do it all correct at tempo 😅
also this etude!! I learned it when I was 12 and it’s the study that helped me bridge the gap from beginning-intermediate player to more advanced player. I worked about six or seven months on it, perfecting it, and I am a way better cellist for it 😁

Illia, I'm playing the Popper 1. and Dotzauer 5. I'm ready for this study but here is my problem. I'm using a cheap fiberglass bow and cheap cello with cheap strings(preludes) I wonder how much responsive my attack will be with a higher end bow and cello and some new strings like Evah Pirazzis? right now I struggle to get crisp articulation. If I use more bow pressure to get a crisp accent the bow hits the two adjacent strings because the attack depresses the string just enough to glance off the other adjacent strings? help?

I would hate to play anything of the sort - great for drills though!
