Yercaud Ghat Road

The 32 km loop road in Yercaud is one of the must to do things in Yercaud. This road is particularly famous in the city for its several hairpin turns and the long stretch of scenic road. The twists and turns are amazing and adventurous and the splendid view makes the drive worth it. It is advisable to drive carefully on this road, without risking overtakes to ensure safety for all. We saw lots of monkeys on the way. The condition of the roads is good for a smooth drive. The tree lined roads will offer a spectacular view of the area around you, which is worth all the trouble and time. There are dense trees on both sides of the road and coffee plantations. We saw mist come in go at several patches giving it a heavenly feeling. Its basically a ring road to Yercaud. There is not much traffic and overall had a good experience for the drive and heaven for bike riders.
Yercaud is a hill station town in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It lies in the Shevaroy Hills, known for their orange groves, and coffee, fruit and spice plantations. Yercaud Lake has a boating and is surrounded by gardens and woods. On the lake’s eastern shore, Anna Park has local plants and a Japanese garden with bonsai.
