Heritage Duo Leads Freight Train

- Join us as we chase a CSX Heritage Duo featuring the C&O and P&LE units. Railfans won't want to miss this exciting adventure!
CSX recently sent a duo of heritage units up the Big Sandy SD on M692 and then back again on M693. I have shots of each of these trains both with the do leading the way. Two of CSX new heritage program units lead this freight on the line. The C&O and the brand new released P&LE. Most of the shots come from the DJI Mini3 Pro, and include various locations along the line. Hope you enjoy!
I just saw the exact same train from the first ten minutes of this video come through the town I live in, in South Carolina about three or four weeks ago! I took pics and posted them on FB, gave my young, aspiring railfan little cousins railroading lessons with them.... And yes, those heritage locomotives are beautiful, especially in person!
Thanks for posting another great video featuring CSX heritage engines on the Big Sandy. It’s always nice to see the heritage engines running on their home tracks.

When do we a get a chance to see the US&S signals in action again when trains knot down those green signals on the big Sandy
Nice video of the P&LE, Im sure I can get it next time, as I didnt wake up that day to catch it.. seems like everytime CSX paints a new locomotive, its either on M692 or something else, also i see that little signal at 15:19 lol, kinda first time seeing it, drove by 1428 seen it a couple times.. I dont know if theres more but.. Ill find out.
Which signal are you talking about?
Oh yea that's a new style signal at Dawkins. Not many of those in the area, still mostly old C&O signals here.
