    Really grateful brother.

    Uhhh the stereo has 2 T10 torque screws that need removing, then you pull down on the tabs the screws were holding in place and you can manually slide the deck out.
    Yours obviously is missing the screws.
    PS...please DO NOT use a metal screwdriver to remove the fascia's.
    Use proper plastic spudgers.

    Hi, what was wrong with the ignition switch? I’m having a problem when turning the switch. The front dash lights doesn’t come on and car doesn’t start. Sometimes when the key turn and lights come on, it starts. Not sure if it’s the ignition switch or battery issue.

    • @ammreid

      switch issue, probably de-soldered joints on white 3pin relay

    Hey pal the vid is a simple and effective way to remove ignition, I have to remove mine to send off with my new and old A80 ISM (the gear change module on the gearbox) I am not changing my ignition but sending it with the modules to be programmed to the car (ML 420) if I have to replace the old ignition does it also need to be re-programmed?
    Many Thanks

    Do you need any specific programming of the EIS before installing or you can simply buy one and replace it

    • @curtis9215
      @curtis9215  Před 10 měsíci

      The new one needs to be reprogrammed to your vehicle..
      I can get you a new EIS and reprogram it for you if you need...
      Or you can get the part and I will just do the programming...

    Always these generation of Mercedes have these types of problems. My cousin's C Class Benz have his key module work intermediately.
    On my dad's ML350, one of the original key fobs stopped working. Luckily we have the other original key we don't use and that works fine.
    On eBay or other websites, you can send the module to them and they can reprogram a new key out of it for around $100-$135.
