- She's not a truck driver-she's a nurse. But Somehow I convinced my wife to drive a 60 ton articulated hauler through an off road course. This just became my favorite video.

Five otta five stars on this ep...Just beautitiful.. Taking something like a 60 ton and making it so entertaining... Do we not all know the feeling of takin out a brand new piece of equipment and being all nervy?....Stan's beautiful wife was killer with that Truck...
Yeah! Got do get more of that.... a payloader.... a Skid... A Piledriver..You name it......Get her too it.... Think we found the next superstar
I love it- Thats would make it more interesting- to watch her try it for the first time!
I really like this video series Stan. I enjoy learning about all of this heavy equipment. Looking forward to the next video!
The next video is a 6 part series on payloaders.
Nice series of videos. Really enjoying this and maybe learning a few things.
Thanks Phillip- more coming soon.
Stanley, this is an absolutely crazy coincidence that you just did this video. My boss is having me run an off road dump truck for this summer. Thank you so so much. Can you please do more heavy equipment videos just like these. Thank you and God bless. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I could see Her getting a part time job on the weekends running some equipment. But its never going to pay what a nurse pulls down. After teaching alot of people how to drive Tractor Trailer, she should know, alot of Men cant pass there tests, but normally its the backing that gets them. If given enough time they would learn, but sometimes the time isnt allowable. Running heavy equipment is a learned thing. Some can and some cant. Kinda like Golf.
Yeah- your right there Charles
I used to train knuckleboom loader operators “log loader”. Lots of guys could pull the levers but never could put it all together. Very few good operators.
Nothing better then to watch someone who mastered the piece of equipment that they are on, they seem to become part of the equipment, kinda like a ballet, tho I have never seen a ballet. Used to set in my car a watch these huge Drag Links, and I mean huge, pull phosphate out of the ground in the Central Fl region. Just one take up roller where the cables come back on the bottom, one roller was 1 million dollars.
For a nurse with no equipment experience, she did great!!! I started laughing at 6:17 because she just realized how screwed she was. ;)
LOL- I did to
Right there is my favorite piece of equipment. I don't know why but I am fascinated by them.
They are awesome. I really like them
Great video stan wished I lived in Minnesota I'd come work for you been watching ur videos for years
OMG she's so adorable and I love the look on Stanley's face LOL
You are awesome! Thanks for sharing! Even when I think I know something there is always more to learn.
Thanks Brett. Glad you liked it!
The day I'm too old to learn something new (whether it is about something I already know a thing or two about, or something I've never even so much as THOUGHT about dabbling in) is the day I'm ready for a pine box... Just drag me out back and shoot me if I can't LEARN anything, anymore!
6:56 wouldn't have caught it if you didn't point it out Stan lol 😂😂
Thanks for watching Mark!
Very Cool, the RN got this!
Thank you Volvo Stanly and your wife for doing a greet show on how to!
Thanks Wilbert!
Great to see a rookie drive One. How she has something to backup her stuff when she states that she knows it all
Big pieces of equiptment can be dangerous. Good video. Congrats on almost hitting 200k subs
Thanks! Its Getting There!
I wanted to see the fully loaded truck go through the course. I think you should go back there again to do that.
Yeah-I guess I screwed that one up. didn't think of it.
good job. Next time I buy a new , 60t rock truck, I'll know what to do :)
How bout a complete series on a skid steer loader.
Thanks
Thanks for watching Warren
incredible piece of machinery
Its a titan
I want to get that rock truck out on a really frozen lake and whip it like a rental Crown Vic.
Holy crap- That would go viral!
Anything to keep me occupied while I'd be recovering from the resulting pneumonia and fractured ribcage :)
Beautiful Moxy, however I prefer Bell 😁
This might be good inspiration for younger people - grade 8+ or so - thinking of what they want to do with their lives.
The 60-ton-capacity A60H - 1 million dollar dump truck - Wow.
Its impressive
Stan, you’ve got a gorgeous wife. She’s a really good sport. She done did good!!!!
Thanks John!
What do you need for something like this looks great
Omg I don’t know what is more scary watching this video or the time I let my daughter have a go of a front tipper and she was 14 at the time haha 😂 grate video tho
Lol, thanks for watching John!
Stanley no problem I have been addicted to all your videos lately and watching them at daft times in the morning on building sights and there where I learned to drive heavy equipment
ultimate playground
I would love to have the loader and truck just play with
How long is the training for too drive this if I already got my CDL
$ 1 million -
Holy shhhh!
She Rocks
I could see drivers getting into a bad habit of expecting hill assist to hold them in place and then drive an older piece of equipment with out that feature and get into trouble.
Yeah- good point on that
Have you tried to use a tilt-rotator / rotortilt? On a excavator? And what is your toughts about it?
I have-its part of this video series.
How many wives in this world can say they drove a $1mil rock truck
I don't think she appreciated it as much as she should have.
I love driving these monsters!
Wives could look you in the eye and *point to THEIR HUSBANDS*
Your wife is pretty lucky my mother has always wanted to drive a rock truck
I remember the first time I drove a skid steer
How long ago was that?
I wanna play with one. Its like a childhood dream.
Lol
I know what you mean
haha love it, 💪 👷🏻
Million dollar piece of junk!!! We had one in our quarry and the A40s out worked it all day long. Couldn’t keep the truck running it was always broke down.
Before anyone says anything about they aren’t made to be run hard in a quarry, our construction side had it before us and had nothing but problems with it also.
I’ve never heard any issues with them unless it’s abused operated the 40s all the time now I run 988k loaders in pits Volvo’s never really had issues with me. Maybe regen issues because of a bad filter but that’s about it
aww I could have seen you I live in PA!!
Dang- I might be back though!
Stanley, if you can't make it down this way, shoot me an email. I may be able to get some crane footage for you and collaborate on a video.
To The Top Crane Do it Stan!
Sounds cool! Thats a good idea
Don Hanson, I don't know what Stan's opinion is on them. But, after seeing them, I want one!! 😉👍
I have no Opinion on them-they aren't willing to let a unit go my way to do a demo- makes me curious why
Hey Stanley big fan keep doing what your doing I need your opinion on something any way I can get in contact with you?
I would recommend watching the videos wherein you can sometimes catch his phone # from off'n the side and/or tailgate of hie trucks, otherwise try his DirtMonkeyUniversity.com website... I can't imagine he doesn't have a contact method there... Good luck in your endeavors!!!!!!!
I want to take my family here and teach them too.
Its an awesome facility Austin
Love you vids keep up the good work and I grew up in the construction business
I been watching since 2016
Dang- Thank you!!!
What do you need to Driving one
lots of common sense
I wish my wife would run heavy equipment with me lol
Lol, thanks for watching Don !
The Wife is such a great sport.
Yeah-she sure is!
Can you tell me where this is in p.a because I live in p.a
Its in Shippensburg
Thank you so much because I grew up in the construction business
You should collab with Letsdig18
I'm Not sure if he'd collab with me.
"Collab" is not a word in the English Language.......
Let's thank Volvo on twitter
@ VolvoCE_NA
Good idea!
Im sure that's got to be the most expensive vehicle she has ever driven . Bet she more nervous than she showed . She did a good job . Question is , does she want you to go out and buy her one now ?
Id never get her to drive it if I did. But I would!
Is this digger land??
NEPA Outdoors no diggerland uses jcbs and is super cheesy and kidsy, there at Volvo CE headquarters
PA HI
That truck does not weigh 60 ton
Andrew Slabaugh oh h*ll yes it does, one tire is about three or four feet taller that stan's wife and the whole thing is steel
It's called a 60 ton truck because that's how much payload that it can haul just like a 35 ton truck can haul 35 tons of material.
Fully loaded it grosses out at 60 tons or 120,000 lbs
Hill assist? Back in my day we called that low gearing. And who the hell would spend a million dollars on a truck with a damned automatic transmission?!
You always start kissing in back
