I think the "Thumbs Downs" are from trolls and/or bots. The second I upload one of my Ring Return videos I get a thumbs down. They don't even have time to watch it! I used to take it personal but now see it's part of the game.....

gareth isaac Thumbs-down is what you get for being dishonest and posting clickbait titles. “Police called, man hurt”? I’ve seen 2 of his videos, both have completely fake description (part of it) on the title. The 219 thumbs downs are potential subscribers he lost because of the fake title.

Cant stop watching these videos. I just got my Excalibur 2 last week with my wetsuit gear but I live in Northern Ireland and all week I have tried to go out metal detecting and I cant because the midges/gnats are swarming in their tens of thousands. I did go out every day and only lasted 10 mins before running back to the house. Even with a net on my face the humidity steams up the visor which means I cant see. Ive literally got hundreds of bite marks. Brand new gear, brand new to detecting and I cant go out and do it!! Keep up the great work Michael, cant believe people thumbs down your videos. You are making a lot of people very happy out there man.
This was just offered to me again. I have seen it before because I recognise the English guy. You had 50k back then in March 2019, but you have 173k now. Way to go Michael. I sent someone your way a few days ago to find a lost ring on Moreton Island. Unfortunately she didn't get a return call from you and a local detectorist sent his detector over on the ferry because there were no ferry spaces left. She found her ring in 20 minutes and is now hooked. It was her wedding anniversary the day she found it.
I really like this guy he helps people. And he's got a really upbeat attitude
