Toss the carbon and add a medium sponge instead.
Better still, put some plants in your tank for natural filtration.

You only replace the carbon not the sponge.

This filter is the only hob filter that make sense to me, other filter doesn’t flow downwards to make filtration more efficient if that make sense.

Nope, checked the intake, motor and the profiler sponge, everything was fine
