Just be sure not to turn the cranks before riding bike. To help turn on display when your on the bike if not it will mess up the torque sensing of the motor I’ve noticed and heard also if it’s on and you more the pedals
as soon as I start and the magnet passes the pick-up the controller ramps to 99.9km/h .. this of course turns off the motor power. Has anyone seen this and found a fix?
After 200km and set up through the display I also have this problem that sometimes I run up to 99.9 km / h and does not support the engine. If you solve it let me know at mail: pavel.zauska@gmail.com .THX
I had this happen once after the speed sensor had been bumped. After much fiddling, powering on/off, I was about to give up for the day, then I disconnected the speed sensor and the system functioned normally (except no speed). I then noticed that the gap with the magnet was very close (1-2mm). I reconnected and opened the gap to 5mm and the problem stopped. Has not reoccurred.
the motor cuts out very early on after pressing the pedals and produces very little assistance. the speedo and odometer also stay on 0, is there any way to fix this?
Hi. Is your problem simply because the wheel magnet isn't close enough to the sensor? There is a small triangle mark on the sensor. The magnet needs to pass very close to this. I placed packing material on my frame to move the sensor 1mm from the magnet.
I am having a problem with the power cutting out as soon as I apply pressure to the pedals. This happens in all the lower power settings but not so much in the high power setting if I am already travelling downhill. All the display settings are correct so I am thinking a faulty Torque Sensor. Is there anything else I can check? Thanks
It is difficult to tell whats problem with your TSDZ2 is. I would check again Ampere setting via LCD, cable connections between battery and TSDZ2. Could it be your battery not delivering enough current, bad MOSFET's or torque sensor as you sed. You can ask for help on ES, maybe someone have the same problem. endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=79788&start=2875
With just one magnet on the speed pick-up, speed read-out will sometimes be a problem. (speeds show all over the place and triggering cut-off). Adjusting gap between pick-up and magnet will most probably solve the issue.
I finished cycling long time ago because knee pain. Now no sweating no hard pedaling and no pain. You can always take advantage of your gears to reduce body heat.
That's built into the controller, you'd need to flash custom firmware to both the display and controller to completely disable the limit... oooor just remove the magnet and give up on the speedometer.
These are electronically limited to 25kph (about 15 mph), on throttle alone, and they're designed to cut off the boost if you go any faster. if you patch the firmware to disable this limitation (Some come with that patched out already, depends on where you get them), you might get 20mph or so. However, the TSDZ2 isn't a well-cooled motor, so you wouldn't be going that fast for too long before the motor demagnetizes it's magnets from the heat.
@@mathewemy Yeah, and the motor is not particularly well cooled in it's housing, so running full bore for long periods of time will also cook it in a different way.
how does one connect a wire to reprogramme the motor? I hear there is software out there. please provide the direct link the prominent download buttons of all the software and links to the intuitive instructions of how to reprogramme.
Hi thanks for the video there is one issue however on mine. When I go to the speed limit option 0-45 it shows blank line with no numbers. Pressing + or - doesn’t do anything. Can somone help?
@@JPHAWKful I have the same issue. Can the speed limit, under the screen that says "25" just be left off in order to have no speed limiting? I am just finishing setting my bike up and the is too much snow and ice to do much testing.
yes "25" left OFF for no speed limit. Speed Limit in SD setting will than default to BLANK Line ---------- "25" left ON SD setting can be entered by ++ or --- March is here
(very late, but in case anyone else sees this, that setting isn't amp-hours (capacity of the battery) but Maximum current. if you have it set to 12@48v, you're only pulling 576 watts, also, it likes it when you change gears, since it's not got a *ton* of torque. mine pegs out at about 22mph. weight is also a factor.
Most wheel size values are in inch but the 700 is for 700mm which should be the adequate setting for road bikes. With big gravel tires like 42mm I wonder if the 28“ might be better suited tho!
tsdz2 sucks. it is not made for adult males. it is made for flatt terrain for light children. do not buy. make this product die. or at least get the tsdz2B Version. but go for hub motors. direct drive has the least maintenance. make sure to get the one with the temperature sensor. otherwise you will burn the coils.

odd. I just installed mine and bumped the pedals a few times. It didn't seem to do anything to the power assist that I could notice.
super danke, so konnte ich von mph auf km/h umstellen und meine richtige Reifengroße einprogrammieren.
The info I needed. Thank you.
thanks for the info. can you print/write out all the steps in the description.thanks
Many thanks. Just what I needed to (hopefully) conclude my very frustrating installation.

thank you.i was getting frustrated that it clickt off at 25 km/h
How do i reset the screen an set the miles covered back to zero? Thanks for the video
can I add a 48v light for front light.how is available front light of this display?
thank you very informative
Problem I have that as soon as you turn off the batt and turn it back on the display defauts back to factory settings. Pulling my hair out.
Does adjusting the amps or wheel size will give me more power, speed or torque??
My speed limit says - - - - and won’t let me change it
Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks casainho!
Thanks indeed! I just got the kit and this was very helpful to explore all settings quickly 🙂

Yea does this work with the other display type? the curved bracket smaller screen model?
Hello,
I can go to this menu, but the only change i can do is Miles to Km .. in all the others, i can't. Do you have an extra tip ?

同样的问题,我认为是电机全速工作时所需的大电流导致电池保护了

Hello! Long time no see..Love your 3D printing videos!
Thanks!
Me encantaría, en español. Gracias.

Hi! How hard do you have to pedal to get maximum assistance in the turbo setting? Is it enough to become sweaty?
I finished cycling long time ago because knee pain. Now no sweating no hard pedaling and no pain.

Hey I'm trying to increase the speed on my bike , but it's configured to 32 speed limit when I try to raise the cap

How fast can you go on ur bike? If u don’t mind me asking..

What does the A setting with a default value of 16 stand for? Is it Amps or assistance?
I hope that someone can explain.
Amps, but the efficiency drops when over 16 so you may cook it.

Can you do a full reset of the lcd screen
what reason would you set the power level high ?

THE 3RD NEXT SETTING SHOULD BE ON (ALWAYS SHOWS 25 CONFUSING ) WHEN IT IS OFF IT SHOWS BLANKS SO GO 3 STEPS AHEAD SWITCH ON AND 3 STEPS BACK.

why be careful setting speed? the laws on electric bike speed?
PutYHWH1st he said becareful amd power. Thats because you can burn the motor or battery or brake a chain and crash
I can't get mine to go over 10-13 MPH even after going into these settings 750watt 12ah 48 volt
