Wow that brought back memories of my cousin's old NES... Those old 8-bit systems had some of the greatest songs which were never really paid much justice until folks like you Camille and Kennerly , and Bit Brigade, and Metroid Metal came to a sudden popularity. You see fingers moving? We are really playing. Since we are duet harpists it is normal, natural, and fun for us to play together. Because of ambient noise outdoors when we get home we record ourselves in our living room and add it to the video. Simple. 2 harps, 1 audio take. No studio. No production people. No backtrack. 100% self-made music videos.

Actually, when I saw your videos for the 1st time I was sure that there is a big crew working behind the scenes - every little detail is done very professionally.
SolarWindsRider ~ haha! We wish we had the resources for a crew. It kept raining off and on when we filmed this video We kept having to cover the harps and load them back into the minivan (similar to what we had to deal with when we filmed Harry Potter, but with HP the minivan was too far away so we'd cover the harps and rush them into the building.) We are based in Chicago but travel where we are hired to play coast to coast. We travel by minivan, even with all 4 harps. Since we have no budget to hire anyone for anything we try to film while we are traveling to/from performances. We do a lot of research / planning for possible locations that we think will fit with the lyrics or story of the music. We usually have only a couple of hours to squeeze in filming ourselves and stay on our travel and performance schedule. So, we hope the weather cooperates, and that the location itself is what we hoped for. :) :) Thank you again, x2!

Peter Hadchiti CZcams is failing me in letting me know people are replying to me. =/ It’s a song that’s reused for a lot of various Final Fantasy Installments, and as for Final Fantasy X, it plays in the very beginning when Tidus is talking to the fans outside his house, if I’m remembering correctly (and I’ve beaten this game so many times I’ve lost count, so I should be).
... I need a Phoenix down...

We only post our locations if we have permission from the facilitator or owner to publicly provide that information. Then we include the info under or on the video (i.e. Iron Man, Mario Medley, Deep Purple, Stairway to Heaven, Phantom of the Opera, Ghost Riders In The Sky, Scarborough Fair, Downton Abbey, Crazy Train, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Rhiannon, Silent Lucidity, White Wedding) Other times we are asked to protect the location - even if it is a "public" location - because we were able to film as a special exception (since we are a very small operation and unobtrusive - and leave no "footprint"). Not only are these girls amazing at what they do, but they have amazing movements. They really feel the music in which they play so majestically - and for an rpg series with majestic music, I think Camille and Kennerly are on the right track.

Before I say how amazing you guys are, I just want to let everyone know that FF music has been an inspiration for me. When I was younger, kids harassed me about my sexual orientation for liking these pieces of music, while everyone only cared about mainstream rap. Nobuo's music was an escape from reality, and provided me with restoration of who I was as a character. I just want to say, you guys are phenomenal and thank you. Nobuo would be extremely proud and I can't wait to hear more classics.
