- David Walliams is crazy in love with Simon Cowell. Fight me...! Okay you know what for the love of God I have finally at last completely lost my mind... time to go down with these ships... yes please.
Seriously though, David Walliams has feelings for Simon Cowell. And it turns me into a happy giggly mess. I'm also extremely embarrassed. However, if you are disturbed by this then darn it don't watch it! This is just some innocent enjoyment for the shippers like me out there, that's all. :) Their hawt bromance makes us happyyy! ^.^
Proof that David has feelings for Simon: He said so himself!
David to interviewer: "Simon is so charismatic, you can't help but having a bit of a crush on him."
(Simon to David): "You're in love with me aren't you? " David: "A little bit yeah, that's not a bad thing is it?" Simon: "It's not great."
David proposed to Simon on national television, then kissed him.
David laid himself on top of Simon when Simon laid down at the judge table during the NTA awards; making even the camera man hurrying to make it small screen then turning it off.
David is always flirting with Simon and has basically been courting him for around 8 years now.
David talked obsessively about Simon even to his own wife, stating that she got sick of him always talking about Simon. They divorced in 2015, David has been single ever since.
When Simon said "My David" for the first time to David, David then later sat on Simon's lap and actually shocked Simon by getting a legitimate boner... he literally got turned on, and after Simon pushed him away he claimed: "I have trouble walking now." To which Simon replied: "He's not kidding..."
During a Final, David was asked to choose someone from his life that he has a connection with. He said Simon. But before revealing it was Simon, he asked if he could envision the person naked.
David tattoed his own and Simon's face on his buttocks with the words "Forever in Love" underneath.
David has mentioned that he is pansexual, and so that pluss all of this and more basically makes this ship CANON.

Lem Manal I’ve read that he doesn’t really want to label himself underneath a tag, and really only wants to explain that he falls in love with someone based off their personality rather than their body. He states that you fall in love with someone’s soul. Which would be considered pansexual since he doesn’t have a preference in between any gender, either if its male or female. Hope this helps!

That's funny because I joined wattpad and wanted to write fanfiction about these two as well but I don't feel good enough at it so I didn't post anything! xD That's so awesome though that you do that, I definitely wanna check your stories out! Indeed it's so nice to fill that last gap that we crave for by using fanfiction.. but I will also say that these two are the most canon ship I have ever seen because they have actually kissed (though briefly) and David was serious when he said several times that he has a crush on Simon! (Albeit I find it ironic how he always goes for seemingly shallow super-model women.) Happy to have brought you and others some joy though!
I prefer using songs that are more out of the ordinary, rather than very common and overused ones like the ones you mentioned. To be honest; "Love is in the Air" are the type of song that I don't really care for either anyway, no offense intended, and sorry.
