Jah Mike said it and I can confirm it --I never knew what racism was until I came to America as a 15yr old boy.
Me too. I came at 15yr old also and went to high school. I woke up fast about racism. New Jersey. Still a deal with it.
I can confirm that...I have experience any such thing in jamaica until living in America...the most hateful place on earth...if you know you know!!!
Me too
@@leighgg7239agree
I never have a clue that people could hate on each other till I came here and experience racism first hand
Who see the same vibration in him as a Bob Marley. Jamaica is a mystical place that bridge all races. We don’t think about race in Jamaica, we invite all to come back to humanity.
Hog wash!
Jamaica has the biggest problem with bleaching in the Caribbean.
You have a colorism problem which is a derivative of racism.
Facts
i was gonna say his voice kinda sounds like bob too
One people, one God, one love. #JamRockStyle
true... until politics comes in
Real Jamaican old school rasta talk.
Big up.
" Out of One People, comes Many people".
Your statement of “Out of one People come Many People “ should’ve been to begin with. We need to change, what we have been living with. “Out of Many one People”
@@jewallorvick233In all honesty, Jamaica motto doesn't apply anymore as most Chinese, Whites, Indian and Brown people have migrated especially in the 70s during the mass exodus. The motto was true when we had independence when the island was more diverse, at one time there was nuff White people in Saint Elizabeth, Manchester and Kingston/ St. Andrew, now very rarely unless u go to an uptown party.
So true, so true.
You stated that he is a Chinese man growing up in Jamaica. But he is actually a Jamaican man grow up in Jamaica. With Chinese heredity . I never described my self as an African/British girl growing up in Jamaica. I am a Jamaican girl that grow up in Jamaica. All of us that grow up or have family from this island are just blessed. None of of are original to the island.
Agree. The original people are the Arawak and Taino people. "Out of many one people" ❤
He has a Jamaican spirit
Thanks for putting it into perspective
😂😂😂 I am so proud of my culture chines Indian black white no matter what u are as long as u have a jamaican accent ur jamaican.
Are you British?
Missa Chin yuh a rasta and real Jamaican 🇯🇲
A me sayyy suuuuu tuuuuuu. Ranted lol
I love this man because of his humbleness and his ability to reason intelligently and being truthful and candidly.
Respect.
💯 real jamaican to BUMBOCLAAT out of many we are one ❤
wow!...he sounds like Bob Marley..lol..I can listen to him talk all day...love his accent.
yes he was a blessing to meet and reason with 🤍✨
It's a Kingstonian accent, notably old school folks.
Non-Jamaicans find it hard to understand why Jamaicans are not used to racism. Kids notice differences and will tease each other: too tall, too short, too black, too white, Chinese etc. So teasing a Chinese classmate was about perceived differences and not racism. That was usually fleeting as well. I bet as they knew him he became accepted in the group. Very very different situation from racism in US and UK for example.
Exact description of the Jamaican mind 😊
Well said!
When I first went to the States, is realized the difference with my 20 year career as a Marine I had one roommate from California who was racist to black people and he was Hispanic; that I found strange out of all my experiences that was the moment my blinders were moved. But, 23 years later I am still with my Japanese wife and she loves my Jamaican culture and drive.
The divide is along economic lines: classism, not racism. We don’t have that in Jamaica.
Classism is what is practiced in JA , but in the U S and European countries, Racism is what is practiced. Classism is the base from where Racism came,
This is a really nice Jamaican man. Calm and soft spoken, clean and decent..Earth people, I love that, also his chuckle.
God bless you mister 😊
He looks well, great skin..must be the weed and herbs.
No one can make you sad, happy yourself! wise words from the man himself.
I wish the world had more unique people like him❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂❤😅😅😅😅😅

An amazing soul with a great heart .thank you for sharing his story 💚💚💚
ises sisteren, it was my pleasure to share his story… im so happy you enjoyed it! blessings 🤍
"his story" is "history" ... Real yard man 🇯🇲
Great content. I wont be suprised if he is in his 70s. Like they say people who are more connected to nature have higher level of awareness and well being and have a better out look towards being satisfied with simple things in life.
💯
Jah know I would love to just sit and reason with this bredda !! Big up Mr chin
I’m in nursing….n I feel so proud telling co-staff that my country has a diverse nationality, because we have Chinese Jamaican, Caucasian Jamaican, Indian Jamaican, Lebanese Jamaicans etc that actually born their . The biggest question is always “do they speak the broken language?” and when I say yes, they are shocked, now most of em are more excited to visit Jamaica 😂❤❤❤ out of many one people 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Agreed, i never knew racism was until i went to the U.S, i grew up in Miami and made friends with loads from the Caribbean, Chinese Jamaicans as well as afro Jamaicans, Trinidadians Guyanese Haitians bagians etc. We always lived as one.thats the way it should be. Blessed.
Daaa izzzzzz. Usa great faaaa de
Are you kidding me? I remeember the uproar on the part of some Afro-Jamaicans when a Chinese young woman was crowned Miss Jamaica. The poor young lady had to say that although of Chinese race, she didn't know anything about China and ate only Jamaican food, a defence she should not have been forced to take. All people arw capable of discrimination. It depends on who has the upper hand.
@@bernadettefarquhar1453 i also remember when a dark skinned Jamaican was crowned miss Jamaica and there was a big uproar among many Jamaican of all ethnicity. Jamaicans want to be labeled as Jamaicans first and foremost, before being label according to their ethnicity. And that is what set us apart from all other countries with race problems.
@@bernadettefarquhar1453which Chinese Jamaican? Which year? Please do tell.
@@barrylloyd5864which dark skinned Jamaican woman was ostracized or criticized when she was crowned Miss Jamaica? Which year? Do tell.

I just love that Jamaicans from whatever heritage, speak with the same variant of English. In fact, a major ancestor of the Jamaican accent is the English spoken in County Cork and County Kerry, Ireland.

If I was Chinese, Indian or white I would move to Jamaica or Africa I would get rich no matter how poor the people are that I move amongst . They are programmed and conditioned to give you whatever they have if you are not black, even light skin Jamaican has that privilege. And before you attack me, you who are raised to uplift everyone who is not your race. I have a dark skin mother and a very light skin father and I see the difference in treatment just because of skin color. My father gets respect immediately, my mother had to fight for it.
Facts
Many can't handle the truth,I hope you don't get attack for speaking the truth out loud.
Speaking truth might just free up their mindset.
@@EarthlyGoddessOyaattached for what. U don't see this man is racist and thinks the lowest of Jamaicans and African. Mek him move him nastiest. George Stiebel (1820-1896), Jamaica's first black millionaire, in St. Andrew. He gained his wealth in Venezuela and returned to Jamaica.long b4 the Chinese arrived in Jamaica. Aliko Dangote: $14.2 billion Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote saw his fortune grow from around $11.5 billion on last year’s list. He not only is the richest African but the richest black man in the world for 11 years. 3 billion more than Robert F. Smith: $8 billion American.
William Alexander Leidesdorff (1810-1848) was likely America's first Black millionaire. He is a immigrant fromCroix, Danish West Indies. And he's s after Jamaica's millionaire and might I point out also from the carribeans.
Why would anyone argue with pure ignorance this man not even know history to open his mouth for 1 to believe him. Spits out pure white supremacy cause to small minded to open a book and learn
@@100jenaboo
You just listed black millionaires in countries with large black populations.
how many black billionaires are in China?
Can u name them?
How about the black billionaires in India?
Can black ppl even own land in China?
@@acowaanna3143 your upset because the Chinese did not colonize a whole globe. I'd like to point out. PLACES WITH LARGE AFRICAN POPULATION OUTSIDE of Africa IS DUE TO COLONIZATION. It has nothing to do with them being racist. Lol people r so weird. If being racist means you didn't colonize a whole world and shuffled people around like paper clips then I'll take the Chinese. By the way these people are not Chinese there Jamaican so I don't know why we're talking about the Chinese lol
