Just a quick Question: After using SALINE on the Onlay do you use BOND as well on the Onlay and then Warm the Onlay? Also what heater you use to warm the Onlay? Thanks

      Great Q Bilal
After the Onlay has been tried in and already clean and etched as appropriate (HF etch):
Apply Silane to Onlay - let evaporate for 1 min - then add BOND (don't cure) - I know Nik also adds a drop of flowable here before then placing the onlay ON the heater (I put a little lid cover on it)
      Hope that helps!

Great stuff! Would it be possible to get a reference for the paper Nik referred to @30:15 about subgingival composite placement and biological width? Thanks for the content

Very informative love it. May I ask if you put flowable on enamel margins during IDS some dentist prefer to cover both enamel and dentine?

Hi Shilpi! I personally do not like to cover the enamel - I would prefer enamel for my resin cement to bond to - in fact I go back and expose enamel margins where I may have inadvertently contaminated with bond and flowable. Hope that helps and thanks for commenting!
