Their dispute was so sad and so misinterpreted. If only vlade and Drazen had gotten a chance to make up before he passed.

Since when is Divac affiliated with the people you mentioned? As far as I recall, Divac was vocally against Milosevic and others of his ilk including the aforementioned. You just happened to fall for the propaganda you have been spoon-fed by Croatian nationalists. Divac, just like any of us is a flawed person that might have made certain mistakes but what you ascribed to him has not been backed by any evidence. Never did he express any vocal support for the Serbian nationalists like Seselj, Vucic etc. Never did he express any sympathy for Chetniks. Could he be a bit of a nationalist? Not to a greater degree than you are. On the contrary he seems to have a rather healthy view of people of other former Yugoslav ethnicities as pertaining to his current and past statements. Now, I don't know what he's really like in private. I simply go by what's out there in the public eye whereas you make things up because you hate Serbs as if we all had done Croatia wrong.

Problem is the bunch of interviews of Vlade Divac in America during the war in Croatia, where he constantly talked about "civil war" in "Jugoslavia", about "uprising" of NDH, about bloodthirsty Croatian paramilitary forces who wants to clean serbs out of Croatia, etc etc....He never mentioned hundreds of tenks while going towards Croatia, and while people in Belgrade throws flowers on them. He never mentioned that serbian war planes bombing Croatia and city of Sibenik, where Dražen was born.......he never mentioned people in shelters in Croatia, including the parents of Dražen. No, he was talking about "both sides", about war in "Jugoslavia", even though a single bullet was never fired in ANY town in Serbia, he was talking about "poor serbians", who are "scared" to live in Croatia, but never mentioned destroyed cities in Croatia, people in shelters and daily bombing. He never talked about the fact that war was going on in CROATIA, and that Croatian cities was under the constant bombing from serbs. He was talking about war in "Jugoslavia" instead, never mentioned that Croatian soldier never took a step into serbian land and never fired a single bullet inserbian soil. In the sam time, parents of Dražen was spend days and nights in a shelter, and his town Sibenik was bombing every day. THAT was the reason that Dražen turn his back to Divac. And the flag story was only a reminder that Divac had his opinion about all this, even before the war. And he certainly waited too long to bring this story out. He should do it while Dražen was still alive, and i'm sure that they would find a way to make peace again. Also, Dino Radja and Toni Kukoč had to avoid Divac, due to his "unpopularity" in Croatia, and the fact that even Divac called them many times, they couldn't go out on lunch or dinner together without talking about home, their families etc,etc..In Dino's and Toni's country there was a war going on,and Divac didn't know what it looks like. Their families was in shelters...So they had actualy NOTHING to talk about those days. It was the best for all of them to simply avoid each other.Waiting for some better days. Today, they are friends again, as they always was. It was just a war that force them to press a "pause button" in their relationship". And it's a pitty that Divac didn't do more while Dražen was alive to clean this story out.

You obviously missed the part here where Dražen himself saying it's civil war.

That were not Serbian tanks but tanks of Yugoslav National Army in their own country Yugoslavia, which Croatia was part of. After Croatia was acknowledged as independent country all the tanks and army went away from Croatia. This was not war between Serbia and Croatia, but civil war between serbs and croats who lived in Croatia, after Croatian government took the constitutive right from serbs in that republic, and after unconstitutional declearence of independence without the vote of serbs who lived in Croatia, and without agreement of other republics in Yugoslavia... which was of course necessary in acordance with constitution. People was just puppets of greater powers who wanted to broke the last socialistic country in the Europe after the fall of Berlin wall.

Of course Divac lied, you didn't ethnically cleansed Serbs from Croatia. Hrvati su stvarno najveci ali ne po tome sto su najhrabriji vec po tome sto se nicega ne stide.
