      Glad you enjoyed it! It was pretty fun to make. I will definitely do this again, and try to get some more dedicated tasting footage. This time around was sort of on the fly that I decided to do this. And there is no shortage of great wineries in Paso Robles!

    Vince great video. I have been to almost all the wineries on your video. Just got back from our trip to Paso and tried Kukkula after your recommendation. Incredible wines and we had a tasting with Kevin Jussila the owner. Keven is a wealth of knowledge and gave us an education on wine. I let him know that it was your recommendation to visit his winery. He said thanks and to let you know that he has had numerous guests let him know that they saw your video. Next time you are down there say hi to him. Enjoy your wine!

    Great video! I visit Paso almost every year. Tablas Creek has long been a favorite, but you definitely also hit some of my other favorites.

      2021 vintage is likely budding out there right now, I'll give it another month or two and then head right back out! Any other spots I should visit?

      @@VINCEWINE I believe you had an Epoch Estate Blend in another video, but I’d put them on the list if you haven’t visited! Two visits in a row I really enjoyed Alta Colina, and want to get back to l’Aventure, TH, and Brian Benson.
      Next time I really want to give Gironata a try. Interested to see what Italian varieties are capable of, but haven’t been there yet.

      YES. Although just for the beauty of it, you gotta try it at least once in the summer when the vines are nice and full

    Great video V! Paso is my favorite wine region for sure. I prefer the "Westside". Man you hit some nice wineries. Been to many of them as well. Big fan of Booker / My Favorite Neighbor-Cabernet (got some in the cellar right now). You should give their Harvey & Harriet cab ($30 range) a try (also got some in the cellar). Very nice cab for the price. Fan of Tablas Creek too (their "Esprit de Tablas"). Not surprised about Dilecta being a "bust". Had some of their stuff before and it was ok. Really wanted to like the stuff. On my last trip to Paso decided to given them another try and visited their tasting room and man was I turned off right away. Did not enjoy their wines but worst of all was their people working their tasting room. They were not attentive, some what rude, and were rushing us. Can't wait to see what you have to say/show about Turley. Big fan of Turley and very nice tasting room. I too am a Zin or Zin Blend guy (oh yeah and Cab too). You should try/visit Thacher Winery, Linne Calodo, Minassian Young, Rotta Winery, L’Aventure, Austin Hope..to name a few. Saxum is my fav of all (pricey but killer stuff - however, no tasting room). Used to go to the Paso Harvest Festival for many years so I have visited many many wineries. Had a blast and stocked up on wines for the year! Hope you showcase more Paso wines or another Paso trip. Keep up the great work. Really enjoy your vids. Salud!

      Wowzers! Fellow Paso lover :) I would definitely have to say Paso Robles is my favorite region to taste in as well, it is so beautiful, so friendly, fun, and of course, they make some amazing wines! I did quite enjoy the H&H Cab from MFN, that was the only thing I could afford! lol. From your list, I know and like L'Aventure, but a little too pricey for me. I like Linne Calodo too, but only once the wines have had a chance to age, then they're phenomenal! And Rotta is great, especially their ports. Haven't been to the others, so thanks for the suggestions! Other favorites of mine include Lone Madrone, Hidden Oak, Whalebone, and Willow Creek Wine Co

    Enjoy this vlog... entertaining without being overly dramatic and distracting while also being highly engaging. Really makes me want to go and visit the wineries itself. It would be great if you included the list of wineries you visited in the description. Additionally, the vlog could be more descriptive, with respective as a sommelier would love to hear about notes you are picking up, what you most enjoyed about each wine tasted ... maybe also included in the vlog or description what you love about Paso Robles wines (in general.. also compared to say other Cali wines i.e. Napa Valley)

      Thank you for the feedback! Yeah this was my first vlog, and very impromptu, I did not originally plan on vlogging. I thought of few things I would want to do differently next time, but you hit some great points! Good reviews but wait…you start at McPrice Meyers and say you need wines that are not too expensive for everyday drinking. All the good wines up there are $20-$50/bottle. Where are cheap wines in Paso? The cheap everyday drinkers are the crap at TJ’s.

    • @VINCEWINE
      @VINCEWINE  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for enjoying! Well, I suppose that was my way of saying that I equate their wine quality to be in the "table wine" category. Wow, is that super snooty or what?? haha. And for that quality, I found it to be overpriced . But you're absolutely correct, the best wines out there are in that price range, and there are so many that are more than worth it!
