Yes, Ethan Um has a very similar fencing style as Alexander. I thought he was Alexander the first time I saw him at a tournament 😂

Isn't KUMBLA off the strip at the 5:00" mark with his right heel outside of the strip and the front of his shoe lifted up but yet he still got the point? Same thing at the 11:43" mark being off the strip?

For the 5:00 mark he would be off strip for his back foot, however it is allowed to lift your foot off as long as it is still over the line. But yet he would be off strip. For the 11:43 mark, as I mentioned earlier, you can raise your foot as long as it is still over the line. Nobody is perfect and this includes referees so they can't catch everything and we shouldn't expect them to. Hopefully this answered your questions 👍
