About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

Did anyone else expect “Yellowjacket” to start up immediately after this ended? 😅
💙💙💙
You guys killed it at the Roseland in Portland earlier this year, and brought it back to life at Sick New World!
I love Mike’s writing and playing, dude is totally capable of total shreddage and complex proggy riffs but chooses riffs that complement the vibe and song. Excellent showcase of cleanliness and control if you ask me.
I have a feeling he writes the riffs first and the song comes later
One of my favorite soundscapes in all of their discography. Those scrapes are awesome.
Spiritbox is a great band!
His playing is so fresh.
Can we talk about this perfecto jacket ? 🔥
What a cool guy 💜
Patiently waiting for that signature.......we know it's coming
😊😊😊😊😊😐🫢😚
Beautiful guitar & cool Riff🤘🤘🤘
Dvm
Super-slick pitch-shifting for only two bars in the chorus....gotta love it🤣🤣🤣
That guitar tone is fuggin gnarly!
Jackson you should put an Evertune or bridge on the Misha Mansoor pro series on a Kelly that would look dope.
i love this!!!
MY BOY
This is amazing
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is fantastic 🎉I would love to hear Mike collaborate with Mark Holcomb at some point, both have such an ambient sound.
Mikes bouncy riffs with Mark's "paid for every fret so I'm gonna use it" riffs would be a match made in heaven
Holy fuck this is what I NEEDED
I love this new soloist body 🤘🏽
That’s the DK Pro
Nice! I see a new signature guitar in the near future 😉 great addition to the Jackson roster. Mike is a fantastic player🔥🔥

1:53 that one dropped note here sounds so cool lol but does the bass have to use a pitch shifter too?
Its cool that the breakdown is just a variation of the main riff. Never noticed that!
Ik their custom shop is cooking something up for Mike. They just have to at this point!!!
Mike Stringer Signature please
Make this man a 9-string so we can get a Rotoscope playthrough.
Signature Jackson when? 👀
How can i get that delay?
Legal
What model is this?
So he with Jackson now foreal??? 😲
yep
@@TheSlenderBassist yep !
Cool to see what he plays during the verse…I never noticed those clean parts. This song’s a lot harder than it sounds lol
Batida linda 😅😅😅
What pickups does Mike use?!
Forget that, what pickup LINES does he use!?
Fishman fluence moderns
With Mike and Josh from Northlane on the roster all Jackson needs is Jesse from ERRA and they’ll have all the proggy metalcore heads eating out of their hands lol (either that or give Clint Tustin a signature since he’s already with Jackson)
While I agree, Jesse is diehard Ibanez. I don't see him parting with his beloved RGs
fucking love his tone so much
This also goes to show Courtney's vocals also play a huge part in the band. At least for me. Not undermining Mike's riffs at all because he's probably my favorite modern metalcore guitarist. Alot of the modern metalcore stuff just doesn't do it for me but I LOVE Spiritbox.
I agree. Spiritbox being the exception, but a good portion of modern Metalcore sounds way too similar.

Yo Wtf ????
No pick? Tough fingers
So the bass carries the band basically
Looks like a seven string . I remember when those first came out . Are you guys ever going to have the burning witches on here or will the men be upset that theirs a pregnant woman that can do burning solos better than them . 2023 & people get upset when they get beat by a woman
what is bro yapping about
@@shibes947 i don't know lol
This is what guitar playing is now?
Must've had the wrong heros.
no its not what guitar playing is now. its what Mike chooses to play. Some of his riffs are incredibly hard...some are really easy. Who are we to tell someone else what he does right or wrong?
@@Relentless_lel Hard - Easy - it sounds like garbage 🤷♂️ It has to be simple to a point so the dismally minded demographic can understand it. We're not talking Tchaikovsky or Satriani here.
@karendoe6525 Being a fan does not qualify anyone to the tell artist what he/she does correct/incorrect.
youre more then welcome to enjoy the art and youre free to not be a fan anymore if you dont like the art.
but thats about it.
i wish more ppl would respect those boundaries.
take Architects for example. I get why a lot of people dont like the new direction (me included) but i'm disgusted by all those comments towards them like "Tom would roll in his grave" etc.
hope that makes sense...have a nice day :)
Not very creative writing. Very amateur.
Clown
Simple but catchy is the hardest thing to do, especially as a guitarist.
Laughs in beauty of suffering
This entire album is the most creative metal I’ve ever heard.
Ain't no fuckin way you playing it like he did though. Shit slaps, he's a wizard
