    They blew a 4-1 lead in game 1. Not extending the lead farther isn't the problem. Not showing up for the last 45 minutes is the problem.

      Goaltending game 1,2,3 was bad that helped cause the problem

    the real question is, why jack and louie arent casting any edmonton series games? that duo is perfect.

    • @mudwiser1391
      @mudwiser1391 Před 16 dny +1

      It's ridiculous. We have Cuthbert and Simpson calling his matchup while Louie was working the Rangers - Avs series and Jack is doing Radio? Jack and Louie are the hands down the top play by play team in the league and should be calling this series. Cuthbert and his "oout" drives me crazy.

    Pickard wasn't bad; the team was. If they don't play a whole lot better next time out they will deserve to go out.

    As a canucks fan I love this series, whether we win or lose. Both goalies playing amazing. Got the best line in the world vs a scrappy team. Will cheer for anyone who wins going forward.

    That definitely wasn't a kick buddy, if that deflection by Pettersson goes in it counts

    Not one single game Oilers were able to keep the lead. Not one single game that the entire team was playing good. Example: for majority of the series we only have one line. And when we finally get goaltender that doesn't suck our best line goes out of commission. Our depth players we're useful for one game in terms of scoring. And of course the one game that they didn't suck our main players were having an off game. The series is over in my head. Consistency isn't there and the only consistent theme is being behind in the series. Stanley Cup Finals probably going to be Rangers vs Dallas.

    Earth calling Nuge, McDavid and Hyman, come in please.... where have they mentally gone?!? They were definitely not in the game last night. Pickard played well enough for them to win - everyone else crapped the bed from the second period onward. If they play like that in game 6, they don't deserve to go forward toward the Cup. They won't get past Dallas or Avs if they play like that anyway. There's no way I'd start Skinner tomorrow - he mentally collapses too easily.

    Inability to extend leads and win games they shouldn’t. The Canucks on the other hand know how to win when they should and even when they shouldn’t like game 3. It’s so frustrating to watch this team still be McDrai and nothing else. We did get a 4th line depth goal but our third line was garbage yet again

    What kind of b.s is that every game 1 point saying Vancouver knows how to extend a lead when not in this series both teams are lucky to get any win in this series it's going to game 7 for sure expect oil to win at home they have been trading games entire series difference last night oil didn't take advantage of the power play or it would have been 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 but no power play with 4 chances both teams are still in and can win series

    this series has been far from phenomenal how can you say that with skinner being horrible all series but especially in games 1 and 3, they got an excellent performance from picks but with bouchard getting up to his old tricks it sunk the oil. not to mention they were smoked in faceoffs tonight especially in the 1st

      Brutal. Like put your stamp on a game nuge. Ya I know he got one the last game but eye test is incredibly ineffective virtually every playoffs. McDavid looked either sick or just exhausted. No explosiveness tonight. Nucks also deserve credit for this one. And finally knobby is losing the coaching battle! Pick gave us a fighting chance! Think it should be his crease, he earned it!

    Ken Holland is in the way. He has constructed a support cast around connor and leon of nothing but beta males in an alpha male playoff world.
    Hell, even coach Tocchet is Alpha.
    ex: vinny....or nikita. Pick the one most likely to cause forwards to NOT wanna go to the front of the net.
    Mcleod....or Kostin? Klim initiates contact whilst mcleod is a floater.

    Bring in Skinner? Let Campbell play? Idiots, its Pickard in net period. If Pickard is not in net, people need to be fired. And stop blaming the players, its the coach. Listen to Vancouver coach, then listen to Knob. The Edmonton coach lost game 5. He should have called a timeout and straightened the boys out, way back in 2nd period. Coach should have learned by now, can't let the boys hold back. The oilers strength is speed and full bore offence.
