Funcționează corect.O mențiune: oglinzile laterale se comanda independent de pornirea dezaburiri lunetei;dacă poziția butonului de reglare a oglinzilor laterale este pe poziția centrală oglinzile sunt încălzite,dacă poziția butonului este poziționat pe una dintre oglizi,dreapta sau stânga atunci atunci oglinzile nu mai sunt încălzite.Mulțumesc pentru soluția prezentată!
Could you tell how many volts are going through those wires for heating? I have non heating mirrors, but the wiring is there and multimeter shows 8 volts even no codes were changed with VCDS. Not sure if only installing the mirror with heating element will work. What would be your guess?
I don't really know. It might either use a voltage regulator to adjust the temperature or an on/off sort of timer. If it uses a voltage regulator, then maybe 8V would be good in a certain moment, but it might also just be really low current at 8V to check if the circuit is good. Maybe the second you put a load on that 8V it goes down to 0V. So could not really tell you anything for sure.

For me as I do not have a dedicated button they are on probably all the time. But they do not go over the temp in the video so in summer they are off because of the outside heat.
On my 2013 a3 audi sportback, if I turn the left / right selection knob (say if you want to move mirror up down, in or out) to either left or right (and not in centre position), then heating of mirror stops. Try that. I hope it works for you.
Not 100% sure what you want to know, but I will give you an aproximate answer. All Audi A4 B8 have the cables for the heated mirrors included, so it's just a matter of adding the glass with the heating element on it, plugging it in and activating it from the door computers.
It can be done, but it's a little more work :) I'm also thinking of doing this for my wife's car for the next winter and that has no cables from the factory. So I need to buy the correct glass with the heating elements, add wires from the dashboard to the mirrors and add a button on the dashboard for them (that only has power when the contact is on). So it's a little more work, but it is worth it in rain, snow or frost conditions.
Salut! am si eu o problema la un Passat B6 din 2009...am incercat ieri sa activez din VCDS (defapt un amic de al meu ce are acest VCDS, ceva functii, ca de ex mirror down, Auto-Lock The Doors will lock automatically when the Vehicle reaches a Speed of 15 km/h)...si am constatat ceva ciudat dupa aceste activari: 1) La inchiderea din telecomanda, usa stanga si dreapta spate nu se mai incuie 2) NU se mai aprind semnalizatoarele cand incui usile din cheie (se aprind doar cand descui masina din cheie) 3) Geamul de pe usa cu pricina ( stanga si dreapta spate) nu mai reactioneaza la nimic, nici de pe consola de la sofer, nici de pe butonul de pe usa (nici macar lumina rosie a butonului nu se mai aprinde) 4) Din colsola de la sofer pt geamuri si blocare usi, nu se mai ingalbeneste butonul cand blochez usile si nici cand blochez geamurile spate Astazi, am scos acele functii activate, dar situatia nu s-a schimbat...in plus pe diagnoza, apare ca, usa dreapta si stanga spate nu o vede (No Signal/Communication)... In plus, vad acum ca nici semnalizarea din oglinda stanga nu mai functioneaza si nici pddle light-ul din oglinda...ciudat rau... nu vad legatua dintre usa stanga si toate aceste erori (semnalizatoare, oglinda, geam, lumini interioae butoane).. ce pot face sa isi revina cum era inainte?? nu am facut screen la cod si la nou cod...
Salut. Din ce vad eu ati gresit codarea. Fara codarea veche nu am idee cum poti rezolva fara un drum la reprezentanta. Ei o pot da la 0, dar pierzi tot ce ai codat vreodata pana acum.

The mirrors are heated all the time after vcds activation, what can i do to turn them off/on at my request?
