I failed at reading comprehension and put the wrong date on the poster for the Joe King Canlander Open. The correct date is Saturday, June 8th at 9:00AM PDT.
Wish more magic content on youtube was this informative.
Been playing for a long time, and this is definitely something I'll pass on to my new playgroup who want to learn more about theory in magic but I've struggled to find great resources to show them.
Subscribed. Time to watch all your older videos :)
AWESOME VIDEO
This video is amazing! Great Job!
Wow, this was a stellar video. Well presented, full of useful information, and immediately motivating. Blessed be the algorithm for leading me here!
I love, and maybe obsess, over seeing meta differences in popular decks. Great video.
Great resource thank you
I love this video. I've been trying to combat my meta that is a mix of combo and proactive midrange with one or two DnT players thrown in. Any thoughts?
Depends on what your exact meta composition is, but that sounds like a good place for some type of blue deck. You can tech towards winning the aggro/midrange matchups via sweepers, or more towards the combo decks with more restrictive counter spells (like Dovin's Veto) and possibly hand attack. You also could look to join in on the combo plan yourself - currently, artifact combo is pretty well positioned for being able to find some silver bullets and have a strong grind plan that can outmuscle many fair decks.
Hard to say anything else without more information, but that seems like a good spot to start based on your description. If you want more ideas or help tuning a deck, I highly recommend joining the Canadian Highlander Discord, if you haven't already. There are a lot of active members there from a variety of metas with a many unique perspectives that are often very willing to help with deck building. The link to the Discord is in the video description. Hope that helps!
I don't even play Magic why was this recommended lol
Good video tho
