You can tell there was no sketching or planning by the fact that basically every frame looks the same.. I also don't really care much for this ship I just thought it might fit

I like the idea of them being in a relationship because I imagine Saint’s calmness is the only thing that can counter Rivulet’s extreme hyperactivity, so they’d balance each other out

That OR they just drive each other crazy cuz they annoy each other
It’s a very delicate balance with these types of dynamics, so when they do work it’s very satisfying

I never really think about rain world ships but I really love this vid. They just both give "i dont really like you but i am lonely" energy and i think its neat
Yeah that's pretty much how the ship goes in my mind! I imagine slugcats as a species are quite uncommon in both of their campaigns so they'll take what company they can get lol

This is a prime example of the “it isn’t healthy, but is compelling” dynamic
even if this is an abusive relationship type take on rivusaint i really enjoy the personalization of the scugs here (in the parts where they're abusive to each other, you can tell with their body language and facial expressions what they're feeling) and i love that for the Goober Ship!!!!!!!! the level of detail on this is great
(i just think they are neat)
I realized recently that Saint’s prime flaw is ego, so this song really fits perfectly. This turned out shockingly well for no planning, I WISH I could do this!
I’ve always liked the take on rivulet “liking a challenge” being so full of energy and ambition that it can feel scary and that rivulet themself is painfully aware of this
They have emotions bigger than themselves but instead of crying they run and run and run playing a game of chase between life and death screaming “catch me if you can!” making feet’s that slugcats would tell stories about if they knew and being so reckless you’d think it’d be best to be a loner but it’s so difficult to tell others to leave them alone
If I thought about it more I could probably say something about saint too but that would likely take a while
i like the fact that moon just looks very concerned abt riv holding a scav corpse with her [ fanon gender ] red eye lights
Game: has different campaigns that are literally centuries apart. Where the only ones that are alive at the same are (monk and survivor) in a way(gourmand and hunter) and maybe saint.
Community: I like the idea of these scugs being in a relationship. I swear it would definitely fit their personality.

Saint could technically be in all campaigns we have no idea when they were born or tried to ascend he could have been a echo for THOUSANDS of years he might even be a living precursor of what slugcats were before they were modified by the ancients

yeah, I mean that sorta explains rivusaint here in a nutshell. Rivulet is a hyperactive scug that stays with Moon, and though they’re not alone, they seem rather apathetic and lonely. Saint meanwhile is calm and alone, and seems to have a big ego. He casually uses his ascension ability and likely doesn’t think much of other creatures due to his enlightened state of being. These two are polar opposites of each other, but because they’re both painfully lonely, they would rather stay in this toxic roundabout and feed their egos than go back to being alone. At least that’s how I interpreted this, I could be wrong lmao

I’m kind of against all of rivulets ships cause I find none make sense… or else it’s cause rivulet is one of my favorite scugs😭 it just doesn’t really make sense to me. The only ship i actually like is Hunter x Artificer. Just kind of speaking my opinion, but the video is very good either way! 👍
