Stallone is the consummate professional, and stays in character despite the abysmal acting from the extras and the mouthy bint in the scraggy pyjama bottoms.
Damn another scene that was left out that would have added just a little more to the story. I mean I still loved the movie and thought it was great but some of these deleted scenes and diff scenes like this one would have just made it that much more great. Especially the deleted scene with Paulie and Rocky in the ally behind the restaurant where Paulie breaks down. I really think that if they had left that scene in that it would have been the most memorable scene in the whole film. I can't wrap my head around why sly would have left that one out. I wish there was an interview w him or something somewhere where someone asked him about that scene. Very powerful scene.

I agree. This feels a little more nostalgic. Feels like the old bar, especially with Andy being there. There are a few deleted scenes that I think could have worked well in the final cut. I'd love to see a recut of the film some day.

No it’s not. Jodi Letizia would’ve been in her early 40s when this came out. She had a small role in Rocky V as Marie that got cut out. Implied that she was a junkie. I think the deleted scene is still on CZcams.
I prefer this one more than the released version too. Rocky 6 overall was too depressing and it needed some light moments. Haivng this marie version here would have been perfect. Nice, casual warm hearted scene. No need for the sad one we saw

@MrJudithDanza1 without adrian being dead there isnt much conflict hence not much drama. if adrian were alive it wouldve taken away alot of his motivation. and ofcourse it added emotion to the story. in other words,i think they made the right decision lol
