Your presentations are instructive and easy to follow. Good job. I did the external storage thing, moved my apps, closed all unused apps. Speed check 150 mg. It takes forever for anything to load up. Did everything on your speed up video. Still sllooowww. What am I doing wrong?

What is the best vpn for the fire stick
Hello I recently bought a 4k firestick and im having a terrible time with buffering using tivimate, I've followed every step on this video and your old one. Any extra advice would be greatly appreciated. I filled out questions on your website. My name is Mike btw.

If you hold the circle button and pause button on your remote for five sec it will say firestick,powering off. Easier 😀

Very helpful video as I just order a 4k (not the max) stick. Is there any reson for not using the amazon ethernet adaptor instead of the Ugreen and cable combo you are using since the amazon one is cheaper and you used the amazon one in your last video similar to this one?
Yes, the ugreen hub's Ethernet adapter is 1Gb speed, where the Amazon Ethernet adapter is only 100Mb. For purposes of my video on it was sufficient.

Have to be honest tried all your solutions from your video above. But still getting the ‘playback error reconnects in 3s (1/5) which is frustrating the hell out of me. My WiFi and Ethernet speeds are excellent and ability to run 8k on all speed tests. If you have anything else I can try would be extremely grateful as it’s one of those frustrating things that you know there is a solution somehow?

I have a Firestick 4k and am on IPTV. I have great speeds, yet I continue to have buffering on the major networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX ..... Any suggestions?
Are you (hopefully)) using a VPN like IPVanish? If so, you can try picking a different server to connect to. Sometimes, the connection needs a different path to get to the content. By choosing a different server in a different city, that accomplishes that. What size is your internet speed.
First I love your site, but one thing sites like yours never seem to use this simple move, which is, on the home screen. To go to the settings or gear button, everyone travels to the right 10 spots instead of going 3 steps to the left to the gear. I watch 6 different people's firestick sites and they all move to the right. Simple and easy!

I have the fastest internet in my area which is up to 500 mbps and my firestick is in the same room as my firestick. I ran the same speed test like you stated and am only getting 28 download! How is that possible?
Are you using a VPN? If so, you might try a different server. If not, have to you restarted the firestick lately?

@@craigdibble7271 If you do a speed test on your cell phone connected to the same (hopefully 5G) network, is the speed much faster than the firestick? (with VPN disconnected)?
If so, there might be something wrong with the firestick. Check for updates and it might be necessary to factory reset it. It's hard to try tell without all the details...

Amazon actually makes an ethernet adapter for the fire stick. It's about $15
That's true, but it's limited to 100Mb/s and you cannot connect any additional devices if you use it.

@@CordCuttersLI Yeah, it's much better. Not only is the speed bigger but the overall ping is also much improved.

Totally frustrated. My Fire TV is connected to my WiFi, but when I hit the play button on the remote to check the status of my connection, all I get is a blank screen. I rebooted the router, unplugged the TV, and that was not the solution. Basically giving up after spending 2 hours on this.
I’ve done everything you’ve suggested and I still get buffering, Firestick Lite
In my opinion the Firestick lite is a very underpowered device. Why not take advantage of some black friday deals this week and upgrade to a Firestick 4k max?
