- Since I was trying to lighten the load in my pack, I decided to start with my admin pouch. I needed something durable and water resistant to organize a few items that I both carry out into the woods as well as EDC. Here is a look at the pouch I decided to go with, as well as a look at what I carry in it.

I appreciate good product reviews and seeing different layouts such as shown here, but alot of Maxpedition videos are starting to sound the same - like paid advertisements. Why is everybody and their uncle telling us how many denier the fabric is made of, all about the triple-coated yada yada, and showing us that they can pour water on their bag or pouch? Sorry. No offense intended. It's just getting really repetitive.
I get what you're saying, and I feel the same way a lot of the times. It's one of the reasons I have decreased the amount of gear reviews I do. However, if I'm going to review something, even though others have said it before, I wouldn't be doing a full review if I didn't go over all the specs and show what the item is capable of doing. I memorize all these facts, when a lot of the times most people could just look it up online. I've been annoyed by people in the past in the comments and ask me a question on something they could just Google themselves. But, that's why I'm here. If I am going to do a good gear review I need to be able to show as much as possible and display as much as possible in a short amount of time. I try to keep my videos under 10 minutes because anything over that is just rambling. Sometimes even up to that is rambling.
No disrespect felt in anyway. I appreciate an honest comment like this. It just goes to show that I'm not the only one getting sick of gear reviews. They become repetitive as hell. Either way, I appreciate you watching. I'm of the same mentality now. Usually when watching a review on something I've seen before, I skip ahead to how they're setting up the pouch as opposed to the specs of the item. It just gets repetitive and boring. Like I said though, if I'm going to do my job I have to include that.
It's ok, don't take it personally. I was just ventilating about Maxpedition videos in general. I really like their gear and I've bought alot of it. But I guess seeing you pour water on your pouch after seeing this on umpteen other videos lately, it just set me off :-) I'm laughing now. You have a fine day sir!
