The best EDC, pack, pouch, organizational channel on CZcams.
Finally, someone who understands and includes practical and pragmatic EDC contents that aren't supposed to be useful in case of nuclear EMP or stranded on a back road in the winter. I am always looking for similar surprise items that can be handy. I am not looking for BOB or GHB content. Kudos on explaining what an EVERY DAY carry bag should contain.
Yeah I appreciate the realistic content too. I have a bag I keep in my car to get me or a friend out of small mechanical problems. Mine is similar to this but I got some good ideas for additions from this video. Refreshing to get a useful practical edc bag video
I live out in the country so having a good set of Fencing pliers,16p nails, duct tape, bailing wire, super glue, bankline
love the content brother - i typically also include a small bic lighter and 1" small roll of gorilla tape
i was an engineer on a swcc boat and had a small drop leg pouch very close to this kit. only thing id add ia a 25 ft length of paracord, and a roll of electrical tape.
This is so comprehensive. You have everything you need and nothing you dont.
I always EDC tools , plier wise , mostly Knipex ( for both work and play ) , terminal , and eyeglass drivers , utility knife , and Multitool , stubby and about 5” 1/4 hex magnetic bit holders . For nuts etc a 125 mm knipex Plierwrench , and Cobra ( 125 mm , approx 5” ) . For anything electrical , an NCV detector ( Klein ) , which has an LDM . Also Wago 221 levernuts ( 2 , 3 , and 5 conductor iterations .
FIRE! For sealing cut ends on rope! A good size needle & heavy duty nylon string for gear repairs! Duck tape!👊🤠👍
Tradie here, swap your adjustable spanner for a Knipex pump pliers or ranch pliers. Adjustable’s are so last year.
Great idea. That's in another one of my kits. Specifically my kitchen junk drawer. I just don't want you pliers to grow legs
Finally an adjustable wrench, a truly useful tool, beats the hell out if needle nose pliers.
I carry my multi tool when I’m out and about. But I have a small tool set in my house, both vehicles, and then my main tools in my garage. I do tend to carry my knipex 7” pliers wrench, mostly bc I put it in my back pocket and forget about it. 15 years of maintenance habits haha
I love the Knipex
Good to hear you support the buy American motto , if we keep it up and demand American made .plus sites are coming out American made only. Thanks for your service Hoorah keep up the good work.
I really like you focus on American made products. This kit is very practical. Also, appreciate your service, patriotism, and your commitment to family.
Thanks much
Bro, part of the reason I love your channel is because most of your stuff is practical. EDC isn't always about SHTF (although that has its purpose). Sometimes its nice to see things I can actually use EVERYDAY. Great job brother.
I really appreciate that this kit looks well used.
Also, I swear every household has a pair of those yellow needle nose pliers and no recollection of ever buying them
One thing I like to keep in my kit like that is a small tire repair kit . I can plug a tire if I need to weather it's my tire or someone else that is stranded . Its really small and doesn't take up much room
Great tip!
Check out knipex ADP & cobra pliers.
Finally. Real EDC. No fishing lures in an Altoids tin for people in the suburbs. So helpful and practical. You had me at loose toilet seat.
No fire starters for suburbans with 3 bic lighters?
My kit is very similar. I like the flashlight and note pad. I’ll have to add those. I don’t carry a bit driver since I have Phillips & flat head on the multitool. Hammer is always tricky for these little kits. By their nature, they’re long and bulky. The MSR Stake Hammer solves the bulk, but non the length.
Great kit!
Add on suggestions: Mini Sharpie, Mini Bic, Duct Tape (wrapped around Bic), WD40 or oil dispenser pen, 6" half round bastard file, Victorinox knife sharpening pen, a 1/4" drive mini ratchet (+ sockets?), 50' of 200# Kevlar cord, a smaller micro bit driver set.
I'd probably swap the slip joint plyers for a some plumbing slip joint offset plyers, for plumbing tasks, wider jaws than anything you currently have.
I might go with a 6in1 or 12in1 screwdriver, probably an electricians screwdriver, and ditch some spair bits, use the ones on the screwdriver.
Dedicated prybar, mini one, but larger than yours, and ditch the little knife bar combo, use the knife on the Leatherman instead, or Gerber's pocket box cutter with full size replaceable blade, and keep extras, a fresh box cutter blade is hard to beat for some jobs.
I might ditch the needle nose for the Leathermans plyers, and I might swap the adjustable wrench for a knipex, but maybe not, depends on what you do, I find it gets the job done better most of the time than a regular adjustable.
Zip ties, electrical tape. 😉
Great kit sir, very practical.
I work as an industrial mechanic. I like knipex water pump pliers. They come in different sizes and the ones I use alot are their 5inch model. The best part is they lock in place, and made in Germany. They are so good I bought them in different sizes because nothing compares to them. They also have an adjustable wrench that would take up less space.
Thanks for showing us what you have.
Second this, I find them more usefull in a wider range of tasks than a strictly adjustable wrench. 👍
Same thing bro, i work as a Mechanic for cigarette machines, u used to carry 5.5,6,7,8,10,13 spanners. But when i discovered knipex i only bring one!!
As a Farmer, i truly appreciate this tool organization, i duplicated a lot of this kit because i needed small tools, but couldn’t get things done fast enough in the field with ONLY good multitool, thanks big dawg 🤙🏼
He is ryyhrryrhrhhhhhhhhhr here wgwg
nice to see a mini kit that can actually fix something. id ditch the needle nose because the leatherman has them, switch the slip joints for a small pair of channellocks or cobras, ditch the bit driver for a klein 11n1. maybe squeeze in a roll of electrical tape.
I really like the idea of bringing tools to friends houses, just in case. I keep my empty tool pouch, with all the tools for it, in a tool roll, in my trunk. That way I can grab just the tool roll, or load up the pouch, and be like “ok … you got a circle saw”? let’s do this! lol
Klein 11 in 1? Carpenters pencil, construction crayon? Small telescoping mirror? Just a couple of things I keep at hand.
Add a Bic Lighter 🔥 and some basic first aid stuff like bandages, alcohol wipes, antibiotics etc, and 3 fts of parachord 😉
This squid sees the jarhead's jug of whiskey. I like him already.
Something to consider is exchanging out the torx bist with security torx bits. They will go both ways
What an awesome load out bro! I have the same Husky 2 ended screwdriver and it made me a hero with my in-laws when their sliding door handle came loose and it was the only tool that could fit under the handle to tighten the screw up. The glass was in the way of a regular screwdriver. Thanks for your service 💪🏻
Good assortment of tools. I keep a similar set of tools in my truck. Can't help thinking that tools are only half the story. The other half is a set of hardware, e.g., assorted screws, nuts, washers, cotter pins, heat shrink tubing, etc. You could fit a small roll of steel baling wire (3 ft or more) to tie up a falling muffler or car grille, bumper, or other temporary fix. Thanks for the video.
+1 on hardware. Difficult to screw somn tgether if u ain’t got screws
Spare screws sounds like a win.
@@stevog44 I like the way you think hahaha
NICE! Maxpedition is great. I added an old gift card wrapped in gorilla tape to lay flat. Thanks!
Nice kit! Maybe some tape
, electrical or gaffer and a few Band Aids in case of a slip
I have a similar usa made craftsman bit driver. It has the ratcheting mechanism. Holds bits in the handle. Has a small screw cap to retain the bits. Nice write up👍🏻
Small Channellock pliers big enough to grab a 1 inch pipe are nice for things like shower heads and the like, Tylenol, and an extra battery. Also, you need some bubble gum: you don't show up just to kick ass, right?
Love my Leatherman mut! Good choice
a couple things I may add...duct, electrical tape, a couple pair of disposable gloves. I think a second pouch with a ratchet and some sockets might make a good accompaniment.
Nice kit. Thank you for your service!
I have 2 tool kit bags that are virtually exactly the same as yours (different brands though obviously). I have one of the kits in the car and the other in the cabinet next to our home 1st Aid/Trauma kit. Don't really EDC it as it's overkill, but having one in the car means it's usually close at hand.
For EDC I have my Leatherman Signal with the add-on bit kit and driver which covers 95% of my daily/regular tool needs along with my Gerber Armbar.
The Signal recently became my full time EDC multitool, but I still have Rebars, Sidekicks and Revs in all my various kits and bags and the family's emergency bags.
I have 4 of those Prybrids, they're awesome.
Morse code on the back of the notebook very handy!
Another great video. I like having a small towel/scarf that is a bright color. Something to lay small parts, bits, and whatever on so they don't get lost while working. Also if needed to wipe a small spill or hands afterwards, useful for that too.
Something I can fold up small. Good idea
I use a red bandana , mask , head covering , bandage etc. Red will show the parts and can be used as a signal device and as a flag for long loads like lumber

You have 3 screwdrivers plus the multitool screwdrivers. get rid of some of them. add some duct tape and some electricians tape. The gerber prybar knife thingy is a toy. if you think you need a prybar, attach a real prybar on the outside. And get a small olfa knife. buy a small needle nose vise grip to cover all the pliers you have. Like more or less you have 100 screw drivers and 4 pliers and almost nothing else. Skil makes an 8" ratcheting locking pliers. So it covers a socket set, a regular pliers and a vise grip. It's called the Ratch-N-Lock.
Good catch.
One of the best versions of these small, in-a-pinch packs. Actual tools. Sometimes the utility of full tools is better than a multitool.
Tools with a pinch of rust = dirt time. Thanks
I put together something similar that got 80% complete and then slowed down on the project. I used a vanquest organizer and wish i would have gone 1 size bigger. In place of the pouch i cut some velcro cable ties to length and stuck them head to toe alternating rows (like sharing a bed as a kid) on the velcro spot, 2 layers thick.
This is genius didnt have many of these tools in mind. Thank You for everything you have shared or for your service Sir.
Thank you for your service. I always try and keep some medical options in mind. Band-aids, a bandana, possibly some cleaner/sanitizer. Thanks for your channel. Very helpful. Also, I just picked up a RoverTac Multitool Knife with multiple screwdriver bits and a pair of very good scissors. Thanks again.
Solid kit. I always keep a silcock tool handy just in case you need water and the knob requires said tool. Cheers man
That Lumintop is an excellent flashlight. I've had one for like 6 months and use it all the time. Super bright !
Awesome info! Very informative. I need to get my edc act together! Thank you for your service marine! Semper Fi!
I love this kit! Thank you for sharing!
I would Def say a roll of electric tape. Granted I am an electrician but I always find a need or use for it all the time when I'm out and about
Dude you have some of the best content on youtube. I'm trying to become more able as i get older and more people rely on me. You and Corporals Corner got me covered man.
Subscribed simply as a fellow Marine. Semper Fi! Great content too!!
Thanks killer!
I've got most of these items in my Jeep liberty, it has a built in tool box in the rear compartment built into the floor.
You have the Leatherman MUT! Great tool! Someday when I can afford one, I will buy one for my kit. Good video!
Great info. Appreciate the way you break things down. Semper Fi.
I just added Knipex 86-100 and 87-100 to my kit, also always have my Leatherman on me.
Dope video!... Keep pumping out the content!
Great kit for the small size. Makes me think.
Awesome video. I'm putting together a Maxpedition Beefy EDC tool bag for work.
I have this pouch and love it
First time dropping through and first 10 seconds I’m feeling the vibe here.
Semper Fidelis, Jarhead. 🇺🇸
Thanks motivator!
Semper Fi. Great video. Practical kit. I have many of these tools but haven’t assembled them together in this thoughtful way. Thanks.
The MUT is a beast. My son gave me one a couple of Christmases ago. Incidentally he just retired from the Corps two weeks ago. After viewing your video it dawned on me with all the go bags I have I don’t have a set up like this. I will be making one this weekend. God bless you and all those who have or are serving.
You had me at cigar cutters.. New subscriber
Very comprehensive and well thought out kit . I have most of the same tools but need to get them organized into a compact kit like you have. I would also like to extend a thank you for your service.
Thank you much and I hope this helps
Love this video and your setup. I am adding a bunch of it to my Amazon lists to buy soon. Hope you get credit for it. Wish I found this video sooner. Keep up the good work!
I'd never edc a toolkit like that on my person, but it's a great idea to keep in the car for some quick grab and go tools. Even in you have a larger toolbox, it's usually not something you want to lug around.
Well done sir. I like that micro driver set, very handy to have. I have the MUT in my range bag, I need a second for my truck.
You should trade out the adjustable crescent wrench for a Knipex Pliers. Once you use the Knipex, you won't ever go back!
I have one in my Junk Drawer EDC kit. I should probably stick one in here too
Great kit!
1/4 inch ratchet and a 10mm socket is what I’d add. Great video though and something that fits a wide variety of task/ needs.
Excellent content, very informational. Semper Fi !!
Good job
Pretty good kit. I have a few different mini kits and a plain larger mechanic's tool kit in a smaller tool bag..socket set, combination wrench set, a 6 in 1 screwdriver, an electrical tool kit and a couple a meters...(a VOM, a car battery tester, an obd 2 tool...) a small air compressor various channelock pliers, vise grips and lineman pliers. This I keep in the vehicle, obviously.
Great kit and video. Well done.
Dude, I absolutely LOVE this! Thank you for showing me my next setup!
Nice setup!
Thanks for the vid, it really helped me create/ build my tool bag. I did add some items such at a magnetic probe and a telescoping mirror. Lover you tips and vids!
This is awesome
Those are game changers for me as a tech.
Love the cheap but effective edc
Maxpedition is awesome. I have several of their pouches and a few back packs. They make good grayman style back packs
Well done
I carry a couple of hex fit drill bits they fit in my bit driver and are handy for enlarging/clearing holes making quick pilots for screws and a couple of other things
Nice kit
Your videos are interesting and informative-good job, Marine!
Thank You for your service to this Nation Marine, Don't know how I missed this channel. Maxpedition everything Rocks. My Falcon III and My Mongo are my favorite bags and I love their line of organizers, i think the micro is the only one i don't have but my Neat Freak is about my favorite of the series, I can fit my life in that thing... Great video. Just Subbed look forward to many more... Oorah
Great vid, thanks
Great kit loadout, gave me a couple of good ideas. Subbed!
I've got the bigger prybrid with the typical utility blades and being that I work landscaping it sees extreme use and is so far holding up well to cutting turf and scoring irrigation boxes lol
Self amalgamating silicon tape is what I would add...super handy stuff.
I was real concerned that I got to almost the end and there were no bits for the bit driver haha I saw them though. Great channel. Glad I stumbled upon it!
I keep Paracord and it was perfect for the Party Piñata. Saving lives daily. 💯
You can drop few tools, too many blades, bigger pliers are bulky. Suggestion: Swap big pliers to one small knipex cobra ,they have good grip. 1-2 pins or needles, few pieces of heat shrink tube, cold weld or poxipol/done deal -ish resin. 2 wires with croc clamps or one voltage probe with croc clamp. Tweezers and stainless steel dentist’s pick or spade.
Good idea.
Nice pouch dump. I didn't know about that little Gerber Prybrid. It just landed in the Amazon cart.
I keep two American Silver Eagles in that front mesh pocket. of my Maxi mini pocket.
Great video!
Thank you for the great video and video insightful information. I took your recommendations and built a bag for myself. I am a Leatherman man but my MUT is going to stay in my shooting range bag and I used a WAVE for my EDC bag.
Love the wave
Can't think of any ting I'd add. Well done kit. T-man
What about to put in some Mini-Butane Torch, and some soldering Pewter? Anyway, Thank You for the Video, Sir! And Thank You, for the Service! By the Way, yet another Great Video! Best Wishes to You, from Norway! Thumbs UP!😀👍
Great information in this video. Thank you for sharing your kit. I would add a little bubble level to the kit.
This gives me information to improve my kits. Enjoy your videos, thanks.
Glad to help!
