He's got that raw talent that I'm sure some teams will be very impressed by. He may be a mid to end 1st round draft choice but I think some team will take him before this.

BOOM!!!
It’s also important to note that his dad passed away during his draft year. I can’t imagine how that would impact a 17-year-old kid away from home
Yes...definitely affected him.
I did'nt know... too bad for that kid.. force to him to overcome this so hard part of his life.
good stuff, thanks for posting
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Should go around 20. I Would love to see Hudson, Mews and Henning video
Trying to get those in for sure!
I personally think his skating is high end but this is by far the best channel on CZcams
I may have been a little too harsh on his skating, but I still think there's another level he can attain and probably will when he's at the U of Michigan next year. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
I like Hage at 18th going to the Blackhawks. Could you do a video like this about Sacha Boisvert? I love your hearing analysis on these players
Thanks for watching! Gonna try to get Boisvert out for sure!
I think you are right on
Whoever takes this guy anywhere from 13-25 will be very happy with this pick
Let’s goooo, another member of the Chicago steel to Michigan pipeline
YES!!!! Gonna check out your new rankings video too.
Might he be a Blackhawk soon?
@@NorthernWarriorHockey That's why I'm here. To see who they might be targeting at 18
Would be a great fit for the Hawks.
Would love for you to include nhl player comparison at the end, anyways great analysis!
I have him #13 in my personal ranking, which seems higher than most. He just seems to check all the right boxes.
His rankings are starting to escalate, so may not be too far off to be honest!
I feel you, I ranked him 9th in April 😅
Anyway to get ahold of you for podcast requests?

Hage, welcome to the caps!
Please Detroit he’s going to rise late but 15 would be a perfect
Apparently he’s listed at 6’1 but is actually 6’2 which will probably make teams value him more.
Definitely! Once all the prospects get to the combine in June and get correct measurements, it will give us true heights and weights.

The Wings should take him at #15, same spot where they took Larkin, who also went to Michigan . . .
May be a pick to grab there!
There's already Kasper and Danielson so no point adding a third C in that pipeline while top 6 Winger is a big Hole surely Yzerman will not stockpile another C there's plenty of talented natural wingers at 15 like MBN, Greentree etc
@@user-ed6nt1ml6p You can always move centers to wing if need be. We need elite offense. He is a 6’1” to 6’2” (from some comments) right handed center that can get to the middle of the ice to create offense. I would consider that for sure. Wingers generally are easier to acquire in trade or free agency. I agree that we need size and Hage seems to have that. Don’t know what combine numbers will show there. Wouldn’t be disappointed with him if he is our number 15 pick. Will be interesting to see how things shake out after picks 9 or 10. Could see teams going different directions. We lack more explosive high octane offensive players in our pipeline. Hage would be going to a quality school and program in Michigan so would have a lot of connections to allow for communication on his development.
I totally agree. You can never have too many center prospects, and he’s a totally different player than Danielson and Kasper are. Right handed is a plus as well. I’d take him over BN for sure
@@user-rw9rs6di9n Hage is a really good offensive player but he's not fast and is pretty meh on the defensive side of the game which is not that much appealing as a C if the goal is to turn him as a Winger better taking MBN who has the total package he's more of an Yzerman's pick anyway
He’d look good with the Blues @16
May be available...would be a nice pick up!
You are literally the only scouting outlet I’ve seen that graded his skating as “average at best” every other outlet whether its the athletic, the hockey writers or the various other scouting YT channels have rated his skating very good or at the worst average.
Not sure why there’s such a big difference.
Wording may have been a little off there for sure...I'd say he's a little above average skater, but he could reach a higher level with more training. He's got the foundations to be a better skater for sure!
@@nhldraftprosI completely agree
Islanders at 20
