- Hey guys!! I thought I’d make a video showing how I create my clear cash envelopes!! This is a cash envelope DIY! I make the clear cash pouches in two sizes, one for my sinking funds and one for my cash envelope key holder. After watching, you can make your own clear cash envelopes for your planner!

Try feeding it through starting with the closed end of the laminating paper. This should help prevent any wrinkles/buckling.

Sometimes you can put the lam sheets between two pieces of CARDSTOCK while they are going through the laminator to prevent the wrinkles and folds. It usually folds like that because it expects it to be thicker and sturdier, because it should have a piece of paper inside, when going through.
Always pout a small band of thick paper inside the closed edge and introduce the sheet. No wrickles . Guatanteed. Because the edge is more rigid it works perfectly.

Try try laminating it using the folded part going into the laminator first instead of the free edges it might help with the crinkling.
I really like the clear cash envelopes! When I was making mine, I would get so irritated when the paper would move around. My OCD was having a fit if it wasn't straight. I got to the point where I just had to tell myself that it was okay and to move on. I appreciate your detailed steps! It will be very helpful for anyone who wants to try to make envelopes on their own.

I have that same laminator(works like a charm!) and I love that paper cutter. It makes me think of the ones our Teachers had in school. Those mini's are cute. Great tutorial!

@@Beautifulmeandyou it jams sometimes on the side with me too, but I try to stay guiding it longer or "try" to readjust it before it starts going through the laminator good. I wish it had guides/brackets on the side when you get ready to feed it(like copier machines have at the workplace).

Thanks for this video! You’re an excellent teacher. I used to work at Kinkos and we had a special paper folder that would hold the laminating paper as it was run through the machine. It kept everything from getting wrinkled. Edit: the folder is called a “carrier sheet”. They sell them at Office Depot. Hope that helps! Save you some money instead of getting another laminator!

When you feed the laminating sheet you need to do it the closed side first not the open side that’s why is bubbling it up😉

Hi. I saw another video where they said you should feed the folded end thru the laminator first. That probably helps to prevent the buckling because the open end can let some of the remaining air out as it is passing thru. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tutorial. You do need to feed the laminating sheet with the seal section in first. That will help eliminate the bunching. I’m a little intimidate with having that much cash in hand. I think it would be helpful. Do you think it would be the same if I had pretend bills instead?
Absolutely : mock bills and a tracker work just fine. Your brain does not make the difference ! You will save just as much, provided you take out the bills each evening, no matter what. You MUST see and touch the bills go away to really experience it.

I have the same laminator and some of my sheets do the same thing. I have a few envelopes that are wrinkled because of it but I love them and still use them.
