Turkey populations are doing well on properties where they are being managed for. All you hear lately is about population decline and conflicting theories & data about what to do. Burning, promoting native species, promoting nesting & brooding habitat, predator management & trapping, and not trying to shoot every single gobbling turkey every year is a pretty good recipe that is working.
