They can forget me changing to the card system if they expect payment to do so. A waste of taxpayers money

I'll do it happily if it's free when I present my green one, must be treated like a first time ID.

I received my first ID in the 1950 ‘s, then the first ID book came out, it was later changed to the green ID book, (which does not include marriage licence, now you want to change it again? I could probably get my death certificate before I get the new card.

If the new ID cards are so good, does it have finger print, blood group and DNA included? How is it possible now that ID theft is on the rise?

Fokof minister, i paid for my green book fair and square. In a time where certain mense are selling their grandfathers groen boekie, I'd like to keep mine, as a sign of being incorruptible, and as a reminder of what our ancestors fought for. You cannot take that liberty away just because it inconveniences you, doos.

Can Home Affairs please roll out an efficient way for us to replace the green book that does not take up valuable time and expense.
