With respect, that is precisely what was told to Job. Job 4, where Eliphaz wrongly says the Innocent do not suffer.
Faced with the self-imposed choice of blaming Job or blaming God, they turn against Job. His friends, wrongly said he was suffering because he deserved it, God was giving it to him.
Now, you just told people that they are to blame for their own suffering, their suffering is a lesson from God; the same thing, and then asked for money.

@@Saffron-sugarGod didn't inflict suffering on job. He allowed the enemy to do so in a test to jobs faith. Plus guy who made video didn't say we all deserve to suffer but if we are suffering it's for a reason. Instead of trying to find a reason to bring a fellow brother down how about you focus on the message that is trying to be convied. O, and humble yourself sister.

This is extremely relevant to me in a personal sense t them moment. This is just a temporary pahase that passes accordingly. The blessings of the LORD are permanently going to leave their imprint on my soul as a result. Thd blessings are eternal.
Ask yourself in times of minor turmoil. Ask yourself when you know your wounds are self-inflicted. "Does the LORD need to destroy you? For you to learn?" I pray that you are not like me, but my answer was yes. Do not take it as a curse, even though sometimes it will feel like it when the Hand of God comes near. Godspeed.

I have always been afraid to read Job because of all the horrible things that happened to him, this is so unbelievably beautiful though.
Job the Longsuffering - he is our role model as Christians to endure the worst trials bestown on us. Job reminds us that God has immeasurable treasures promised to us in His kingdom if we suffer and wait patiently through trials for Him. He is shaping and forging our hearts here in life in the meantime. Suffering should be seen as opportunity to please God, and when we do, the gifts in His Grace are endless, on Earth and in Heaven ❤
The book of Job is so good. It has so many lessons in it.
For example- Nowhere in Job does it say that Job was aware it was the Devil (under the permission of God.) doing these things to him and his family. Job does what all of us do: Blame God.

Job must have forgotten. The lord is really HIM!
Im sure the same could be said about you and i. Do you follow all the Lords ways? Or do you still think there is certain things you know better then God. Do you lie sometimes? Even if the question makes you look bad if you answer it truthfully. Do you commit adultery by looking upon a woman with lust? Do you judge others? Do you pray for your enemies and bless them? Do you lend to whoever asks of you without expecting anything in return?
There is plenty i know I’ve struggled with. Even the apostle Peter, believing he would never deny Jesus, whom he walked with and performed miracles with for years in his name, yet he denied Jesus 3 times when the time actually came, when fear came and seized him.

He’s making Job think he’s not trolling him, it’s not done maliciously
The things in this life are temporary. The fact of the matter is it doesn't matter if Job was the subject of a practical joke, or not. This book is a display for all, the path life will take you down sometimes, and it hurts. If you can keep your faith strong, the blessings will overtake the negatives, but you have to keep your eyes up to avoid drowning.

Many women find such biblical statements sexists. Personally, I just take it as being able to get away with much more 😉
Women are like children in a lot of ways and in some ways it’s good and in some ways it’s bad. Sexism is a made up concept. Men and women are different and have different roles. Egalitarianism is a lie. You don’t have to like reality, you don’t have to admit the truth if it hurts too much but truth is truth weather you accept it or not weather you like it or not
I love God but if your whole family all your kids die and all these things happen to you how does it feel your heart up for someone to tell you that you're not as amazing as they are... Like okay I understand God created the whole world but like if jobs friends were going to be unsupportive it's kind of like really bad like like what about the empathy part God created empathy and love right and compassion? And if Joe would have committed suicide he would have went to hell because he would have been wrong right? It would be an easier story to digest if they didn't have segments where God was talking to the devil like they're cool enough to be on speaking terms about job... Like like people don't mean anything
If Job is an Atheist and doesn't believe in God, doesn't know God and instead of acknowledging that God have more better plans for Him, Job complain and blame God. Probably he will commit suicide, he will be in depression.
But as one who believes in God and knows that everything works for good to this who believe in the Lord. Is it cruel to die? Is it evil that someone died? Is it a problem that your whole family died? Maybe it is. But the only person that can answer that question is who you are.
Job was treated unfairly for certain!
That's the beauty of Job.
He calls out for a vindicator- and the Lord provides one.
Job also has doubled of all that he lost in the last chapter of the book.
The steadfast dedicated heart is what God wants- through good and bad times.
How can we be tested to be found true if we're not tested on the premise of freewill?
